【CS2】DOPPLER UPDATE

Rip my falchion doppler p2 it looked great while it lasted. It does look similar to what it looked like in csgo but more purple. It literally looks like a p1 now. If you go look at the picture of the p2 doppler in the steam inventory, you can see it still shows what it looked like before.
I think valve made a clever move on being able to rent weapons with the killowatt cases. I see this as a way to decrease the amount of the cases in circulation. If people decide to rent instead of opening that case, not only the case will be gone but a potential skin coming from that case will be gone as well. Eventually the case won't drop anymore but that won't be for quite a while.

They were not reverted to their CSGO version. They were all just made blue. Some mistake’s been made. The CS2 account already tweeted that their working on fixing the dopplers.

I don't mind the change to P2 Dopplers, but my P2 Butterfly Doppler still has a pink handle. I mean, I like it (best of both worlds, right?), but how can people say it looks bad when all Valve did was make them look like how Black Pearls looked before this update. Isn't that an upgrade instead of a Barbie Doll knife?

Hmm I understand what you mean. In my case I previously got myself a bayonet doppler p2 mainly because I was a big fan of how pink it was. I dont like that over a night its a completely different knife now. Sure it still looks great but its not what I bought in the first place.

Still new sapphires have green color. A little boost to gems but normal dopplers including gamma got nerf

It'll go down until it normalizes with P1 imo. The only reason it was expensive compared to the rest was because of it's bright pink look. Now that it looks like a fake black pearl, there's no reason for it's overinflated price. People will panic sell their P2s until it reaches equal pricing as the other phases
