    I’m a senior at a community college in Austin. It’s much cheaper and the college has paid my tuition 3 times since I’ve been there. The learning and assistance is there. I will soon transfer to a university only to having to go two years instead of four. I will be leaving community college debt free!

    Community colleges are good And more people need to utilize them

  • @things_can_only_get_better2179

    Very insightful contents as always. If one would prefer a community college to a full University because of the cost,that would be absolutely fine. However,if you want a community college because of ACT or SAT waivers then I think you can do a broader research and look into some full universities as we have a good number of them been TEST OPTIONAL as well as others been completely TEST BLIND(which means SAT or ACT is not a requirement at all).Typical examples are Catholic University of America in D.C,Columbia College in Chicago ,California Institute of Technology,University of California and California State University .You can research into these good schools as well as other good ones.They help!

    • @things_can_only_get_better2179
      @things_can_only_get_better2179 Před 2 lety

      @@saintkhloudseusebio4223 Well it depends on your high school GPA , transcripts , recommendations, extra curricular activities , etc. As I am also aware, students who mostly get full scholarships also take and get high scores on SAT or ACT even if the school makes it optional. But this differs from school to school . My advise is that you go to the websites of the schools you want to attend and contact them via email and they would be willing to explain their scholarship policies to you properly. Hope this helps .

    Some community colleges DO require an SAT or ACT..it depends on program of interest...if no SAT or ACT is taken then you must take a college entrance exam and placement tests for Math and English....if you transfer before graduating the school that you transfer to may not accept the classes because they don't have the sane classes...the way to do it is graduate from the community College and lock in the credits to transfer so they don't get lost and it's less time at a 4 year school.

The majors have variety too and it’s a easy transfer degree for credits in future universities. Plus if you have low GPA or ged they don’t really care about your scores. Your grades in community college will look better and get you more opportunities to more elite universities💗💫.

Then you can get you're journeyman's license. Then you can get master license after 3 years of working as a journeyman. If I were you I would join the UA, they pay for you're plumbing classes and send you to work with a contractor. Look up plumbing listings in USA for plumbing jobs on indeed, you won't believe how much a plumber makes.
