landscape Photography On The Northumberland Coast

- In this weeks landscape photography video I take a two day trip to a part of the Northumberland coast that I've never been to before, as you may well know It's a beautiful part of the British Isles to seek out landscape photography photographs. Coastal landscape photography is probably my favourite amongst other genres. The reasons are that you not constrained by seasons or weather conditions such as high winds and rain to a certain extent, the endless compositions that are unique in every photograph as the tide rolls in and out, sand patterns appear and disappear. This type of landscape photography is good for the soul, soothing and a breakaway from life pressures. Love it

Hi Ian thanks for your feedback, if you google the bathing house Northumberland coast you will the location, there’s a little car park near a farm and just a short stroll to this location, enjoy it’s beautiful there. Kind regards Stuart

As someone who harks from Northumberland (best county by far!), I know that location south of the Bathing House very well. Those images are absolutely great

Hi Stuart, I live in Alnwick and have been to those locations many times. It's good to see what other photographers get from them, as I seem to take the same compositions but in different conditions.

Hi Stuart I hope your vlogging camera survived. My favourite image was the one that you showed at around 5:00 you got the Shutter speed spot on regarding the crashing wave and great colours in the rocks

how are you getting a 15 second exposure - are you using an nd10 filter?
Hi Russell, due to the light I think it was a 6 stop filter to get the 15 seconds. Stuart
