But she nailed it. Her body id was on point.
Season 9 was just dumb. I started forgetting it was even on. Show should have ended with season 7.
Honestly, season 5 really was one of the best. It was so real and relatable and emotional and beautiful 🥺❤️
I love how they talk about the characters being flawed because I think that's one of the reasons I love this show. None of them were one-dimensional and the actors and actresses brought so much compassion. This especially true for Brooke ! I love the honesty in this podcast
I need a sequel of this show so hard, so bad. Not a reboot, but a continuation, with Senator or Major Davis, with Haley, with everyone in it. Even if they're just recurring characters. But a show they produce and care for as we cared and care for it
As a super fan, I think it would ruin the show for me.
They will never do it, because anything one tree hill would involve mark schwann in some capacity. I remember this coming up when the allegations against him came out, and all 3 ladies came out in support of the victims. That's why they do one tree hill related things (like the fan meetups, some cast members always go), they did some Christmas movies, they guest star in each other's projects, they talk about all things oth, but I honestly don't think they'd ever do a revival.

@@tamacullen oh don't get me wrong I'd love to see it too! I think it would need to be, like you said, something they were producing, for it to be right and to do their characters justice, but I feel like it's just wishful thinking ☹️ maybe I'll be proven wrong someday, who knows!
Unfortunately, Mark still owns the rights to the characters and stories and whatnot so they’ll never work with him again. It won’t happen. Still holding out for a Friday Night Lights update tho.
I met Sophia on set during one of the gymnasium scenes and she couldn't have been more kind. Such a sweet person.
She is super sweet! I met her in Wil. When they were filing season 5.
i'd give anything for just a single hour long special of where every character is now. especially the kids. as much as i would love and adore a continuation of where it let off, i'd love just an hour long special to see where they all are.
This will be always be my favorite TV show of all time ,nothing can top it.
Season 4 was my all time fave the music that season was incredible. That’s what sold me on my favorite season.
I seriously cant say enough good things about OTH. I’m currently rewatching all the seasons and watching the character growths, the acting, and the stories is really taking me back. I think part of what made the show so great is because it tackled an array of topics and things people actually go through. It didnt feel like your typical Hollywood show, it had that sense of authenticity to it that you don’t often find on TV today. *please* bring OTH back 🥺💓💕
This show got me through my teenage years being abused. It was the only thing that could make me feel happy for many years when I started watching it at 11 years old. I’m now 28 and I’ve seen the show over a hundred times. The first 4 seasons definitely over a hundred. Went downhill after season 4 for me personally because I was too young to relate to them as adults. The final season aired my senior year of high school which felt so good to wrap up my childhood like that.

Used to watch the series a lot. Peyton and Lucas leaving was such a bummer really. I think the series could have been better had they sticked around, but I get it, their journey came to an end.
I'm 56 and my daughter is 35 (almost). OTH is our tik tok made us do it. We are first time watchers, started 2 months ago and can only watch together.... But we are already at the end of season 4. Holy craps ladies! Love this show !

11:15 I love Hilarie saying "Peyton saying to Lucas " lets just pause" after his proposal was the RIGHT thing to do". I love Lucas and peyton so much but I totally get why Peyton didnt say yes to proposal. It took a LONG time for her Lucas back but i LOVED seeing her so vulnerable and be so open about her feelings.

yea, that last season stands out to me as when One Tree Hill changed from the show it was to a bizarre soap show, with one trauma after the other, after the other... Russian mafia, it definitely got silly. it's also interesting to me to hear how much the walking out the shower scene sticks out to Hilarie, because as a 16 year old watching it, it stuck out to me too at the time. In a weird way - like why are kids acting like adults etc, am I immature because it's not my vibe. the over-sexualization stuff was a bit out of place. Like, when the backseat of the car scene came on, my mum goes 'bad show about bad morals, if you're bored the house needs a vacuum". LOL.
I wish they would turn off the background music.

They talked about what Brooke, Haley, and Peyton would be doing. What about Jamie, did he follow in his dad's footsteps and become a NBA superstar OR follow in Haleys footsteps and become a Rockstar. He was such a great kid, he had to become an even greater human being, as an adult. JMO

What I would love to see is Brooke, Payton, Hailey, and 3 more females who are minorities (Black, Hispanic, Native American, etc.)in the forefront.
I want to see female empowerment talking about tough topics and rising above society's view of females.
I want us to talk about issues each minorityface when living in America, how they affect the next generation, and what we can do to make a change.
If no one is talking about it, lets put it on the screen to force a conversation that would lead to change.
I mean, the possibilities are endless.
I believe TV shows have the power to make a difference.

To my mind, the first three seasons were the best and most realistic in terms of storyline and actors performance. I liked Seasons 4 and 5 less though.
Season 2, 3, and 5 were the best. I wish they had never gotten rid of Felix. The storylines between him and Brooke were the best.

Nathan got kidnapped by the Russian mafia🤣🤣🤣I stopped watching around season 7 or whenever Clay and Quinn came. It just became repetitive and like a revolving door of the same archetypes. Also grown up years felt soapy right from the jump with them all being famous and established.

Season 5 and 6 were rough. Season 7 was a bit better with some new characters. Was just glad that Lucas and Payton left after a while. It was such a downer listening to them two. 😆
Bethany looks the best, followed by Sophia. Hilarie on the other hand looks 45!

Ya’ll Lucas was always hers - from the first episode. P. Sawyer just didn’t know how to open herself up to him. Brooke knew she stepped on toes when she went after Lucas and you see that on the show. That is why season 1 I actually struggled to like B. Davis. Girl you knew!

I absolutely loved OTH in highschool. Still one of the best shows. But i can't bring myself to rewatch it. I had so much trauma from my teens that was tied to the show. It would just make me feel like that broken highschool girl again. OTH def got me through it but can't rewatch it.
