For people that are new and don't know what rough waters is, It makes your boat slow and there's a chance for a sea serpent to spawn. If you are in rough waters while in the 2nd sea, then a kraken or sea serpent can spawn. Both have drops and kraken drops have colors which they each have a different rarity. Also both can give you fruit drops.
I skipped The Island of Zou and just went to the Baratie at around level 45, then stayed till 115 so I could max my 1SS. It made it a lot easier IMO, as you can easily hit the Baratie enemies through the walls and not die. I also think Private Servers is optional, as if you know someone with the gamepass, they will probably let you farm in their server. (From what I heard, Dungeon Map Chooser is needed if you plan on farming dungeons, as you can easily save a lot of time instead of resetting over and over till you get the good map(s)) Also get fruit bag, otherwise you *HAVE* to eat a fruit or get rid of it, there is no way to store it otherwise, take this as a warning. I've heard people get fruits they wanted in dungeons, and have to get rid of Mera/Flame in order to keep those fruits, via eating them. If you don't have the money, ask a highly trusted friend to hold onto the fruits for you.

BTW, to new players I recommend going to fishman until level 425 because it is the easiest, but it will take a bit. A good fruitless way of farming is DIABLE JAMBE is evolves from black leg and I recommend getting black leg because of geppo which is sky walking. Also at Thriller Bark, around the area there is a place where zombies (NOT ZOMBIE KNIGHTS) which is the best place for grinding.

I know it's not your fault but most likely the wiki's fault, but your leveling guide isn't the best, the best way to level up is to get to baratie at like 45/50, and then grind there until 110, and you also should grind the regular zombies instead of the zombie knights since it's way easier and you get the same amount of exp if not more
Also for anyone who may read this, get black leg, the upgraded version of black leg, demon step, will help you with grinding and make it way more efficient. Also if someone offers you a Kilo, spin, or suke don't eat it, it's worse then not having a devil fruit.

Imo, fishman is better than Mink, depending on your devil fruit, because with fishman u can still swim with a devil fruit, but that's my opinion, also ty for the upload, keep up the grind
I remember realizing that the point of the game was to hit max (300 something at the time) before getting a fruit. Well now I have a Mochi that just dropped from dungeons
Good thing about mink is its stamina regen and stun passive, but fishman has survivability because you can literally swim even with a devil fruit as fishman Both have pros and cons and personally i wouldve liked mink but fishman clutched for me a few times
Btw just a heads up I believe to be able to do the zombie quest over by ryuma in thriller-bark, you only need to be level 400+, I know this because a guy I took their was able to do the quest at level 410. Hopefully this was helpful!

GPO was fun honestly but then while getting help I got trolled and people had sailed me to Marine ship or something and set my spawn there as level 8. Tried asking for help so i could come back to starter island but the community tries its best to discourage new people from playing the game that im actually struggling to simply get a ride. The game is good from what i've seen, however, the community is so unbalanced right now that i feel discouraged from touching the game at all as of now, I can at least say that a majority of new players right now probably feel the same way being treated by the paid community.
I have thalassophobia so I can't progress any further. The fact that I need to get through a dark and blurry maze UNDERWATER with a time limit while fending off sharks just messes me up so much mentally edit: my friend helped me do it :D
fishman is one of the best races, if you have it you're able to not instantly drown in water with a devil fruit (not being hie/magu, of course). Fishman karate is also the best fighting style in the game, which for low levels, can essentially substitute a fruit.
