I remember playing the bass on this piece it was just quarter notes the entire time! The trumpets were way too quiet while the alto was he only thing you could here! But that was good performance
I can't wait for tonight! I'm doing a concert with this song! Here is my lineup.. Oh and btw I'm first chair trombone :D 7th grade honor band.. All the pretty Little horses. Lexington March Silvergate Overture. I am in KMS band from kingman arizona and my whole band is participating in Large group band festival next week with those same songs! I hope we get superior!!!
Today our percussionist has been sick for like three days and usually our conductors like sings the drum solo at 0:45 when he's not there but our conductor was gone and it came to that part and everyone sang it my friend and I could not compose ourselfs for the rest of the song it was so funny
too much sax and dynamics were horrible, pay attention to crescendo. plus the clarinet squeaking was frequent. my bad got a superior playing March On!, Harmonious Blacksmith, Down By the Salley Gardens, And obviously this.
More Trumpet this is a March kind of song with the feel of it more brass needed to stick out more and the Alto was too loud idk what the hell that director was thinking I played this song in 7th grade and it was a pain in the ass due to the dynamics and tempo change it was pretty difficult but this band struggled with this song even on stage the brass section didn't play with confidence
They got too quiet too fast at I think measure 3, where there is actually an accent, but very well played:) My band director say always over exaggerate dynamics, makes it exciting:)
I disagree for too much alto sax I’m an alto and it helps me Hear what I should play and the tempo but then I agree because it sounds like there are 6 altos and it shouldn’t be hear it needs to blend in with the band or the song sounds weird
I play this in 8th grade symphonic band these kids can’t be higher than 6th their pretty good (granted there are many slight flaws I hear to much sax which is common with their inflated ego in my band but for first year band kids their really good)
+Marielle Bravo-Saltzman sorry my old band teacher always said tell them the hard truth and crush their spirit to motivate them in order to create a solid 1st division band
They kinda blurted out on some parts and rushed little parts 😐
I can barley hear the melody
im playing this in school
Tbh I feel like the crash symbol should be way louder
And he’s also holding it wrong

Colt Bell
Wow I’m from Arizona too and I’ve also played all the pretty little horses. I was playing as the finger cymbals in that one.
Today our percussionist has been sick for like three days and usually our conductors like sings the drum solo at 0:45 when he's not there but our conductor was gone and it came to that part and everyone sang it my friend and I could not compose ourselfs for the rest of the song it was so funny
im playing this in a consert comeing up. Yeah you can tell what instrument I play from my profile pic. SAXES ARE BEAST!!!
Brandon Shaffer they played way too loud
Brandon Shaffer but there is too much sax for this peice
2nd division
Clarinets ftw
Playing this tonight at our pre-festival concert! Flutes FTW!
IK all the comments are being really critical but the trombones are really sharp
Well, in the bright side, these kids went on to be good musicians probably.
I'm with mdub3widmensho on that statement!
make the trumpets abit louder than that cause i cant hear them that much
Bruh really they played the same song. Just went to an assessment and the same school came up and did the same song.
You can't hear the bass and trust me I know the part I play the baritone and its one of our competition songs for friday
But Still Good!!!
too much sax and dynamics were horrible, pay attention to crescendo. plus the clarinet squeaking was frequent. my bad got a superior playing March On!, Harmonious Blacksmith, Down By the Salley Gardens, And obviously this.
never to much saxs its middle school (i do agree with all of this tbh just like making fun of people :P) ((making fun in friendly way))
Way too much Saxophone
never to much sax ;)

I'm playing this in my middle school band and I'm a clarinet, but there is WAYYYY too much alto
Altos, I think is what they are, are way to loud and the brass needs to play out more, but it's pretty good all around
Trumpets are so quiet
And didn't play accents were he slowed down, :/
Trumpets are playing at like piano, I can't hear them well.
way too much alto sax
never to much saxaphone WE WILL LIVE :P
There will always be to much saxophone
They got too quiet too fast at I think measure 3, where there is actually an accent, but very well played:)
My band director say always over exaggerate dynamics, makes it exciting:)
they were ment to be quiet so the flutes could be herd
I disagree for too much alto sax I’m an alto and it helps me
Hear what I should play and the tempo but then I agree because it sounds like there are 6 altos and it shouldn’t be hear it needs to blend in with the band or the song sounds weird
The trumpets need to be quiet and so do the clarinets and some low brass
WAY too much alto sax
Kentucky Trainiac yes
theres never to much sax XD
I play this in 8th grade symphonic band these kids can’t be higher than 6th their pretty good (granted there are many slight flaws I hear to much sax which is common with their inflated ego in my band but for first year band kids their really good)
I mean the rhythm and sound were ok but some instruments were too quiet at times..
trumpets are too quite
Snare drum slowed down, :/
not to be rude but trumpets need to back off and some baritones were playing wrong notes
when you start a sentence with "not to be rude" you probably are.
+Marielle Bravo-Saltzman sorry my old band teacher always said tell them the hard truth and crush their spirit to motivate them in order to create a solid 1st division band
the other instruments drown out the low brass completely and,,, too many saxes
y'all roasting these kids while they are probably are 6th grade not whatever you guys are. y'all are bullies
I think they're is too much Alto-Sax and way too little flute. I should be able to hear the trilling at 0:24. The style is pretty bad.
Y’all flaming them to much there just middle schoolers
*welcome to the real world*
summerour was better
