Years ago in high school, one of my friends was outed in our "friend" group for watching ASMR and everyone made fun of him for it behind his back (it was literally just tapping and whispering stuff). I didn't defend him but I knew damn well half the other people in the room probably watched it too and didn't want to speak up like me... still feel bad about that.
@@nothingaboutnothing4584 theyre slowly making you comfortable with being uncomfortable, they start with small "jokes" and then slowly let out their true feelings into those jokes. theyre manipulating you and if you feel like defending them youre playing right into their hands, they often set things up so then they seem like theyre jus trying to be supportive but failing, but in reality theyre sugar coating the attempts of control over you, it will always seem smaller than it is and thats how they stay long enough to learn more about you to use as emotional ammunition, in normal friendships people wanna learn about each other and open up, but in these situations youre the one opening up and theyre saying whatever it takes to learn more about you, "oh yea that happened to me one time, but go on" or some other conversational lubricant to keep you pouring out your feelings. they try to act like a friend *just* enough for you to treat them like a friend, in reality youre not a friend to them, but someone to exploit, whether its to feel in control over something at all in their life or just because their bored, your relationship with that person isnt a relationship its a game to gain something form you, they always start out as "oh my friend is a little flawed but everyone is" but no flaw should be directly impacting you in a negative way, otherwise its not a flaw its a red flag

I was thinking, maybe for a future stream we share our playlists? Could be an interesting way to get ideas. Mine mainly consist of gaming collections because I enjoy controller sounds and case tapping. I find the PS3 to be the comfiest console controller and case wise.
