“Necessary to defend freedom”: French protesters march against far-right in Paris

  • Protesters gathered in Paris on Saturday to demonstrate against the far-right National Rally's (RN) surge in last Sunday's European elections. As many as 100,000 people were expected to turn out at the march, police said.
President Emmanuel Macron called a snap legislative election after his centrist alliance was trounced by the RN in the ballot. A first series of opinion polls have projected that the RN could win the legislative election and be in a position to run the government.
"It is necessary to defend freedom. Freedom, we can defend it. And in 1793, lots of French people defended it, they died for this freedom. Today, what do people want? I don't know why they vote, they prefer the extreme right, fascism,” one protester said.
On Thursday, political parties representing the French left-wing said they had reached an agreement to form a 'popular front' to contest the snap parliamentary election, which will be held over the coming month in two rounds on June 30 and July 7.

The problem that is happening in France and the issue that affects all countries is the fact that those who consider themselves, “progressives” and “liberals” are neither. The fact that peoples history of their own country and cultural identity has been greatly sabotaged by not being taught or distorted, allows the autocrats under the guise of a false liberalism to take control over the country and then surrendering control of those countries to supranational organizations. This creates pseudo-empires with unelected and unaccountable governments that do not care about the people, only power, control and their own agendas.
The media as a whole, has failed its duty in calling out these bad actors and are predominately complicit in the efforts to tear down their own countries by either controlling what the journalist can say and/or has a culture of uniformity instead of critical and diverse opinions.
This is a culture war, such that the enemy of culture has infiltrated and occupied, every institution and without correction civilization will collapse on itself while being invaded from outside forces. This draws parallels from ‘the bronze age collapse’ and ‘the fall of theRoman Empire’. I wish I mean every country is currently interdependent to be able to stand on its own. And western civilization is being invaded again from the east following year identical strategies of r*ping, m*rdering, stealing and replacing of the local population. You just have to look at crime statistics to prove the point.
