Singer was no doubt a very unusual Man. He didn't invent the sewing machine, but he was a great innovator, in that he took what was already there and improved upon it, and made his sewing machine commercially successful, and one that would be suitable for every home. He made it easy to buy, even for those who wouldn't have been able to afford it otherwise. His quirky lifestyle aside, he gave us the most popular sewing machine ever.

In the first few mins she talks about sharing information. I wonder if she's still alive, and knows about her being on this website, which like most of the internet is a vast network, like they thought to form so many years ago, about everything of course, not just sewing machines. Just reflect on how our world is changing.. and where it is going

This is from the late 80s or early 90s, and she didn't look very old, so she's probably still out there.
