What is everyone's thoughts here are women worse than men at pool? I see no reason why that should be the case.
It’s just a numbers game. More men are interested in playing pool professionally than women. It’s not that women are worse than men. The top women in the world have Fargo ratings approaching 800, which is not too far away from the top men. The fact that far fewer women play pool just makes it seem like they are worse in general, when that isn’t really the case. The upside is that you can be a 600 - 700 player and have a decent chance of winning on the women’s tour. Whereas on the men’s tour, there are so many more players that a 600 - 700 rating is not going to cut it.
I think the true answer would be to integrate the sport. The women might have a tougher time in the beginning, but it wouldn’t last long. A rising tide raises all boats. Everyone would benefit in the end.

I think women aren't as good at pool because men practice a lot longer. It's not to say that women can't, but in general, most women don't have the desire to spend the same amount of time on the table as men.
@John Ramos Intersting, I was wondering if it had something to do with the bodies center of gravity. A man is higher up which seems to provide a bit more of a foundation for making shots. But that is just conjecture I have no evidence to support that.
