I started watching WAL because of Devon and I don't regret it.

Few people in any sport can talk about their sport in such a way as Devon does. How can you not be a fan of this guy
nobody smarter in the sport

Neil listens and actually always seems interested, and he’s a legend himself.
Devon>Todd.
Neil's a great armwrestler. He's been pulling for years.
I think Neil once beat todd
Blorox Cleach not sure about that. I know Todd beat him in an epic 5 round supermatch.
Blorox Cleach wouldn’t surprise me if it has happened, but the only match I know of between the two Todd narrowly won in 5.
@@cOpEnBaCoN I was wrong they had a tie match 3-3
Neil is the greatest commentator possible. Just so knowledgeable, helpful & charismatic!
Nah it's Ryan "The Goat" Bowen
I never thought ArmWrestling would be this complicated...😂😂
Well normally people just use the four arm because that is more dependent on weight
You have no idea
It’s an art
I've got friends with decades of experience in pro armwrestling. They say they're still learning how to armwrestle
A lot of people are overcomplicating it though. Most people are only strong in one move and may be a couple of different variations of the sam move.
2.5 to 3 inches. If I'm talking to my wife it's about 6 inches.
What is going on?!?!
Neil is hilarious
frick off Bobandy with that cheeseburger locker

Next, how to Toproll like Matt Mask!

At first I read the title as "How to Hook Devon Larrat", I thought, "yeah good luck with that". 😆
dangolfishin did you doubt me mate 🤔🤣😂🤣
Best vid about the hook I've seen so far. For a non arm wrestler, it is oddly hard to visualize without actually being able to feel it. I liked when Neil talked about where he felt the pressure. Made it easier to visualize.
in about 1 year my armwrestling IQ has now caught up to the point where I think I understood about 80% of what Neil was saying and about 75% of what Devon was saying. A year ago I wouldn't have understood 30%. Devon is a great teacher and ambassador for the sport, the days of armwrestling opponents who rely on strength alone is probably waning quick.
13:10 "You can roll out"
Oh, come on, Devon, you know what that's called...
CAAAAAN OOPENEEEER!
Neil's comment for his wife about 6 inches is absolute gold
I never regret choosing devon hes the bruce lee of AW
That part at the end was very reminiscent with his match against hutchings. He had the hook, and then transitioned into an outside move. I'm assuming that was by design
CAN-OPENERRRRRR!!!!
Oh yeah it definitely was, that’s part of the table iq. Knowing when to transition go the outside
In the early 00's the UFC had technique instructionals during their broadcasts that shifted a lot of bloodthirsty casuals over to being more educated fans of MMA. I love seeing these, I'm super pumped for the future of WAL, especially with Devon's charisma pulling in more fans for the sport.
Unbelievable knowledge.
This is gold
Neil is very knowledgeable as well. The best play by play commentator and analyst.
The Professor Devon Laratt. He needs to grow the Superman hair back.
They should have todd pop up from under the table in one of these videos
0:41-0:57 Looks like Devon has some 'Hello darkness my old friend' going on.
You cannot ask for a better quality training video. What a phenomenal piece. More of this would really bring us together.
Neil: I like your positioning there.
Devon: I like your skeleton.
Devon jonesing to test that frame
These are great. Keep em coming. Neil and Devon are dope.
These two need to make more videos. Very well explained!
Devon the "Professor of pulling" Laratt. Great information, helps the intermediate to novice viewers to better understanding on what they're seeing on WAL.
Learning so I can teach my son how to arm wrestle. This is choice material. Thank you both!
Devon let him talk even tho devon wanted so bad to talk he let the other guy get finished. Class act, love this man!
That "I'm talking to my wife" bit about the 6 inches was hilarious. Neil is GOATed and of course, everyone knows Larratt is one of the all-time greats.
Man that teaches me alot. Thanks Devon and Neil for the awesome knowledge
So we have the press and hook. Now we need the toproll to go with the kingsmove. Get Matt mask on there!
Awesome Devon and Neil! You guys are legit legends!💪🏼😉👍🏼
Really helpful video guys. Many thanks for this great instruction.
This video deserves a standing ovation
As a beginner, I have learnt alot from this video. Thanks Devon for all that info.
Devon is the best and he’s wearing the dad sandals
he is way overrated
Honestly my favorite two people
I think I learned more from this Video than I ever did in any other
Proud to say I'm Canadian!! 🍁🍁✊✊🏿✊🏽👊

So much knowledge and strength it's a thing of beauty
So much great info here

I love these older videos there priceless Devon and Neil😎
These vids are so informative
Amazing videos WAL
Love you both 💪🏼
Watching this after king of the table and it's so interesting that Devon actually used all this in that match! Such a master 🙏🔥
Awesome knowledge from the best thanks
Lovin the tricep press right now. Total body position.
Awesome stuff
Isnt this the NBA on TNT set? LOL!
Gefari Productions I think Bleacher Report owns both companies
Thats what im thinking, this is so weird
I'm not a armwrestler but I love to watch Devon!
Excellent advice thank you 🙏
This really is quality content. I really want to armwrestle someone now, lol.
Fantastic tutorial lads..sensei Devon, thank you brother.
Wow. The technicality is MESMERIZING
This video is so much better when Devon talks I don’t why other guy talk was bugging me
The other guy? That's Neil Pickup and he's a massive figure in arm wrestling.
Needed this today. 🤠
There are so many styles of hooking. I Think the strap with shoulder commitment usually ending in a press is the best for using height like devon has because you can really get ontop of someones arm. For todzilla, without shoulder commitment at all, his compact frame and short arm driving straight sideways instead of down is perfect for someone for a more average height.
Thank you for this video, and a suggestion for the next... Toproll move please with devon because he explain so well
Learned so much in this video
i like how for the first minute devon is just zoned out
Thanks you very much.
Legendary turn and burn slogan in the end
Great video gents, and love Neil’s brief humour in this one lol.
Question, I’ve seen a lot of pullers wear a sleeve on their opposite arm. What the reason?
Levan Saginashvili მსოფლიო ჩემპიონი Thanks for the advice Levan, hope you & your Family are well mate 😉
Excellent thanks..👍💪
Good stuff
Very interesting , wished to see a Toproll version of this too. Wonder why it was never made.
I can feel Devon's power ❤❤
Grest video, very enterteining. Devon 😎
Devon could talk about this stuff forever, and we could listen to it forever.
the deadpan-ness of his delivery of the joke at 5:04 ish really got me
Best best devon larratt!!
I love hooks and when people accuse me of cheating because of doing a hook I simply tell them, "This is armwrestle, not holding hands bud"
I’m 6 foot tall and have an arm span of 6foot 4 inches and my hook is ridiculously strong. I have currently never lost in the hook in my current form. It’s all about the way you adapt to use these techniques to suit you
No fucking way your arm is 6 foot 4 inches long
@@AndyDoesGAMEZ69 his arm span (both arms held up, horizontally) not one of his arms, numb nuts.

I started watching armwrestling because of Larratt. Great, and funny guy.
I love this video
This is rocket science.
That was some great information by No Limits Larratt, thanks for the great tips !
Niel pickup is the living encyclopaedia of arm wrestling
Thanks guys!
nice one !
My go to move
You the man Devon!
This is a much better explanation video than the Kingsmove one. There are many, many people who don't even know that armwrestling as a professional sport exists, so it's best to explain even the most basic things in great detail to them. This video got it right; "what's a hook?", "how to apply the hook?", "what are the advantages and disadvantages of the hook?" etc. etc.
Imho the Kingsmove video was way too technical, and there wasn't much to learn for an outsider to the sport. What I believe should be done is to make a video explaining the very basics of the sport: "What *is* armwrestling?". And by basics, I mean it. Using the whole body, armwrestling rules, armwrestling strengths; what is cup, post, pronation, supination, how an armwrestling match should start, when does an armrestling match end, what are consideres fouls, warnings etc. etc. An "Armwrestling 101", if you will.
Hook training 3!!!
Absolute legend Devon
Devon is a my favourite arm wrestler
Niel is cool he was super good too all the pickups are strong.
I just joined a local arm wrestling club and am super "hooked". They say I am a natural top roller, I need to practice the hook is all hear lol.
Easily a couple of the top tech fighters... Good match
Let's see some practice pulls!
Agreed on both counts.
100 k subs exactly!
I watch anything with Devon in it
What would Devon teach us today, after all the recent experiences, WINS ON PRONATION & mostly not being focused HOOK?
@neil, please make an episode on the subject
Recently, I've seen Devon. But he's totally a new person. Comparing him to his older self, makes a lot of sense to beginners & better learning curve for mid terms
I like this guy's voice
Excellent thanks see you on UK amateur circuit #worldarmwrestlingleague #ROOPATROOPA
IWANT YOU TO REMEMBER!
Best line,so hilarious
The camera work is a little sloppy but great video, very educational
I dindnt notice. Till u said. Not really an issue. They just have a regular camera guy rather than expensive equipment to hold the camera still despite any movement
Whether or not you are a fan of Larratt or not, you have to admit he is the absolute best brand ambassador for the sport. He's a great speaker, intelligent and a natural on camera.
3:51 look at his bicep just from the action of twisting his wrist.
lol thats anyone with a visible bicep hill.
