    Great review! I'm thinking of getting this for my telescope, would this be able to hold it with the weight being unbalanced? And can you make precise adjustments with it?

    • @TechNoobies
      @TechNoobies  Před rokem +1

      It could, but it depends on how long the other end is from the center. As for adjustments, you can do fine adjustments,but dont expect it to be very precise

      Thanks! Yiu can check out Andoer Q160H. It has 5kg load capacity and is horizontal mount capable. Or you can check Manfrotto Be Free Advance, a bit pricey, but worth it. This is what Im currently using.

  • @durzog3668
    @durzog3668 Před 3 lety

    I can see there's quite a bit of woble with the center column extended. Would you trust it for longer exposure shots in any configuration, like over 3 seconds? I am using Fujifilm X-S10 with lenses that do not go above 500 grams of weight each. Thank you very much for the review!

    • @TechNoobies
      @TechNoobies  Před 3 lety +1

      For configurations that has room for weights to be attached at the center column hook, its stable enough for 3secs exposure shots. But for configurations where the feet are wide apart and the center column fully extended, adding weights could be impossible, hence you may still experience some wobble

    Dear,
    Ball head or pan head with handel which will be best for photographs, need easy to setup. So which one?

    • @TechNoobies
      @TechNoobies  Před 3 lety +1

      Personally, if I am shooting moving subjects, Id prefer ballheads. As they are much simpler to use. If it was a still subject, then Id go for a pan head as it offers finer levels of adjustments compared to ballheads. Hope this helps.

    • @TechNoobies

      You need something thats easy to move when shooting birds. And since you dont need fine adjustments for landscape photography, for me, ballhead makes more sense. HTH

    • @TechNoobies
      @TechNoobies  Před 3 lety +1

      I compared it with my other tripod, the Manfrotto Be Free Advance. The Andoer Q160SA is shorter by about 1 foot compared to the Manfrotto. But Since the Andoer is shorter, it means it folds to a more compact size.

    is this good for flat lay photography and for cooking videos?

    • @TechNoobies
      @TechNoobies  Před 3 lety +2

      The center column of this model cannot be positioned horizontally. Hence, its limited when doing flat lay photography. You can either get the Andoer Q160HA or TTT-004. Both of those are capable of positioning the center column horizontally. Hope this helps.

    Dear, can i change the head of this tripod? Or its fixed?

    • @TechNoobies
      @TechNoobies  Před 3 lety +1

      Yes the ballhead is changeable. Do note however that the screw for the included ballhead is just a regular screw. Depending on the ballhead you want to install, you might need a countersunck screw.

  • @MrGabzki
    @MrGabzki Před 3 lety

    Are the ball head and quick release clamp removable?

    • @TechNoobies
      @TechNoobies  Před 3 lety +2

      Yes both are removable. For the ballhead, the screw is 1/4 in size. You might need a thread adapter if you want to use a different ballhead. As for the clamp, the included screw for the clamp is of regular shape. You might need a countersunk screw when installing another clamp to have that flush flat surface
