Definitely taking lords name never backfire. This is my personal experience. In 2018 nov i came to know about Shri Vishnu Sahatranama as one among the most powerful mantras. Shri hari being refugee of all saves you always and protects you.
I don't have much knowledge of astrology but having 8th house moon and 7th house ketu. I read many terrifying things about these placements.
I recite complete Vishnu Sahastranama daily.
With personal experience i would say don't ever have second thought. Recite with full faith.

Those who didn't understood how to get the Shlok according to your horoscope, just see your Ascendant degree and see the chart @ 07:24 in the video.
Look at the ascendant in the column and find the degree in the row against it. The numbers will show the Shlok.

There is another way of seeing shloka for each planet. Janampatri gives nakshatra and pad of each planet . Each nakshatra corresponds to four particular shlokas of Vishnu sahasranamam. Pad 1 means first shloka of that quartet.

Sir,There is a confusion in shlokas numbers.which one to choose.?
Example- if shloka no.69 given in trsiyenger, same shloka is given in geeta press gorakhpur but shloka no.is 82.There is difference of 10-15 no's in each nd every shloka,
As max a us cannot recite whole vishnusahastranam daily.so you have given very helpful information.Anyone can choose 2-3 shlokas and recite.
So please help which source of shlokas is authentic,orignal as shlokas number matters a lot.🙏
Once we get the navamsa of the cusp/ descendant degree, do we always start counting from 1 (aries) or from the start of that particular 7th house sign's start [i.e for water sign start from 4 (cancer), air sign start from 7 (libra), earth sign start from 10 (capricorn), etc] ?
From that start point, do we count until we reach the beginning of 7th house or do we use the number of the navamsa the cusp was at to count?
For example, 15 Leo asc means 15 aquarius descendent or cusp. The navamsa for the cusp comes to be 11.
Do I start counting from Aries or Libra? Do I count 11 Houses from aries or libra? Or, starting from libra do I count to the beginning of the 7th house?
Counting 11 houses from either aries or libra, i arrived at shloka 110.
Does that mean I do the 2nd shloka as the stotra only has 108?
If I count from libra until the 7th house, I arrive at shloka 56.

I think it is simple, just look at the table given in the video, screen shot it,look at sign and degree of cusp( if leo ascendant at 20 degree,then following cusp comes at 20 degree) if you want to focus a planet then take planets degree and relate it to the table.

What do you mean by take your moon nakshatra and see in which navamsha it is? If moon is in Hasta? I hve to see which house hasta falls in and check if that moon is giving me well being or not depending on the house Hasta is now in? I do not understand, so please clarify.
Go to 7:12 , check from the chart and see in which degree your moon falls and chant that ashoka.
The Sata-nama-stotra says,
visnor ekaikam namapi sarva-vedadhikam matam
tadrk-nama sahasrena rama-nama-samam smrtam
Chanting one name of Vishnu gives more benefit than
studying all the Vedas, and one name of Rama is equal to a
thousand names (sahasra-nama) of Vishnu.
Again, it is stated in the Brahmanda Purana,
sahasra-namnam punyanam trir avrttya tu yat phalam
ekavrttya tu krishnasya namaikam tat prayacchati
If one utters shri-krishna-nama once, one obtains the same
result that comes from chanting the pure visnu-sahasranama
three times.
The purport is that a thousand names of Vishnu equals one name
of Rama, and three thousand names of Vishnu - that is to say, three
names of Rama - equals one name of Krishna. Chanting Krishna's
name once gives the same result as chanting Rama's name three
times.

Which sloka nos to be chanted for mars,jupiter and venus .sunil ji please give a brief because when you explain it becomes very easy and imprinted to understand🙏 in my case I m virgo ascendant and in my lagna chart mars is in 2nd house,jupiter and venus with sun in 5th house,rahu and moon in 8th house.
I am explaining on planet for yours chart.
Mars is in second house that is Libra. From Aries to Virgo: number of house is 6. Each house consists of 9 parts of each 3°20'. Therefore 6*9=54. Now find the degree of Mars from your chart. From degree look at in which part it is placed. 0-3°20' 1st part, 3°20' - 6°40' 2nd part, 6°40' - 10° 3rd part. Rest I think you got.
Now add the part to the above that is 54+part number ( if 5th part then total will be 59 ). This total will be the shloka number for your Mars.
Here your 5th house is Capricorn so from Aries to Sagittarius it is 9*9=81. Now 81 plus you Venus part number/ Jupiter part number will give their respective shloka numbers.

Your Ascendant degree is 25° 47' great that is 8th navamsa.
Every house is divided into 9 navamsa and each navamsa or part is equally divided into 3°20' so by this it's 8th.
Sloka 80, also do slokas 79 and 81 since ascendant degree may change by 1 to 2 degrees depending on the Ayanamsa used like Lahiri,Raman,KP,etc
Because in lahiri chart my lagna sign Gemini is at 4 degree and in Tropical Rashi chart my lagna Gemini is at 24 degree?

Download Saptarshis Astrology app from Google Play Store then input your data and get your chart. Suppose your Leo Ascendant is at 15 degree 24 minutes then find which part is your Ascendant in. That is every house is divided into 9 parts of 3 degree 20 minutes each. From this your Ascendant is in 5th part of the house. Now from Aries to Cancer 4 house and every house consists of 9 parts. Therefore 4*9=36 and add 5 parts to it 36+5=41 therefore you should do 41st SHLOKA of Vishnu Sahasranamam for health and making yourself strong.
For relationship :--
To find 7th Cusp your 7th house will be Aquarius so from Aries to Capricorn 10 houses, so 10*9=90. Since 7th cusp degree is also same as the ascendant degree so add 5 to it. 90+5=95 that is 95th SHLOKA of Vishnu Sahasranamam.
Also do the 7th lord for it here your 7th lord is Saturn find out in which house it is placed and the degree and find the shloka as said earlier.
You should do Venus for relationship and depending on the type of husband you need Do accordingly Jupiter or Mars.

For Eg
1) My Lagna lord is taurus @7•
2) 7th cusp is scorpio and as per u we consider scorpion at 7• means 66 th mantra
3) navmansh of 7th cusp of water sign start with cancer and counted 4 th to 7th ie.9*4 with adding 3 for cusp degree of 7• total =39 so 39th mantra of Vishnu sastra nam

7 degrees of Scorpio of D1 will fall in Virgo navmansh ( till 3.20 in Cancer, till 6.40 in Leo, till 10 deg in Virgo)...and so see Virgo nav and its 48th mantra ( 46, 47, 48)
Simon sir, when we use KP cusps the degrees will be quite different from the regular cusp degrees. Due to unequal houses. So, taking same degree in 7th house can be greatly erroneous. Earth is not perfectly divided into 12. I am sorry I may be wrong . But I see KP cusps are very different. So pls suggest which way to take degrees. KP is the most accurate for cuspal positions. I am worried because it's more important for us to be accurate, responsible for keeping up the faith of people. They will not have patience to judge something, why it's not working or so. They will simply blame the subject. I bow down at your feet, don't consider disrespectful. Please understand the concern. Vedic knowledge has become a dead elephant.
