    Хорошая конструкция! Я бы добавил донный разделитель, для прочности футляра.

    I'm thinking about trying a variation on this, shifting from the saddle stitch to a baseball stitch for the sides though

    Is that non-slip tape on the top of the pony?

    Should we worry about a lining when using vegtan?

    • @mikestoning5536
      @mikestoning5536 Před rokem

      No worries about a lining unless you wanted to add one for style. Maybe slick down the back if it's a bit fuzzy.

    What does Chuck have stuck on top his square?

    • @devin.holland
      @devin.holland Před rokem +2

      It's Non-Slip Tape. Can be found on the Weaver website.

      @@devin.holland I have a corked back ruler, is this tape better?

    • @devin.holland
      @devin.holland Před rokem +2

      @@davidjenks7392 I haven't tried cork backed. As long as it's not slipping as you cut it's probably fine?

    • @williampierce5579
      @williampierce5579 Před rokem +2

      @@davidjenks7392 my non slip holds a little better than my cork backed, but whenever either of them slip it's because I was applying too much uncontrolled pressure and not really the rulers fault

      These are the segma snaps and only come in one size. Hope that helps!

    Its funny that we call it leather and not cow skin.

    • @nevisstkitts8264
      @nevisstkitts8264 Před rokem +1

      It's cow skin before it gets tanned. After it's tanned, it's no longer skin; it's leather. Same for buck skin, elk skin, etc. Once it's tanned, it's leather.
      If it comes from a thicker, tougher, or heavier area on the animal, it's often refered to as hide instead of skin.
      Since there's an exception to just about every rule, lambskin is still called lambskin after it's tanned ... prob cause it still has the wool on one side; same for sheepskin, goatskin ...
