I caught a live show from the Mavericks in summer of 96 at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Junior Brown was the opening act and he went out there & tore it up. Mavericks kept up the energy and it was a great night. Speaking as a former 101st Airborne soldier, we appreciate what they did that night. Our Commanding General did a special presestation, making the Mavericks, Junior Brown and his band honorary members of the 101st Airborne Division. They earned it! Air Assault!

No freaking way! Really? I caught them at the Calgary Folkfest possibly 6-7 years ago. They were spectacular as ever. Too much fun and really tight live. Excellent musicians, all of them.
