    Fabulous footage and music, made me cry when I see what we missed out on. We got stopped at the border on the first day of the lockdown in March. A beautiful place, not sure if we will ever get the chance to come back. Arctic Sweden made up for it with 3 nights of Aurora before the long haul home.

    Great video, Lofoten truly is one of the most special places on our planet! Where were you when you got that awesome display of the lights at 6:40? How many times did you see the lights on the trip?

    • @BernardTanCreationStudio
      @BernardTanCreationStudio  Před 7 lety

      6:40 was somewhere along the way towards the Finland border. Manage to spot 3 times in a week, rest of the days are all cloudy and snowing. It is recommended to join The Northern Light Chaser team for their tour. Worth every cents of your money! They study the weather and they have few teams of people bringing us on mini bus going different direction and locations out of city to search and spot for the lights, and they update each other on the weather and cloud condition so everyone on other team can go towards the area for a high successful chance in spotting the wonderful lady aurora :)

      I don't know about Switzerland since I have not been there, but Norway is really beautiful in summer too. Especially if you drive off the main roads. Going from A to B in Norway is much more beautiful if you drive the narrow side roads, which often follows the coastline. It will take longer, yes, but places along those roads can most often be breathtaking! But the unpredictable weather can make it far less breathtaking, of course. And you of course have to travel to northern Norway, which is the most beautiful part of the country. The south-east with the Oslo region is totally ugly and depressing in comparison. But the capital itself is beautiful. But north, that is the place to go. But of course I say that, since I live in the north myself. But it is true anyway, north is best. But the west is nice too. The southermost part also (but very different from the mountainous north and west).
      I went to Austria once. I expected high mountains, like home. Because that was what I had seen on TV from Austria. Quite a shock when the plane went in for landing, and I saw it was completely flat, like Denmark or Holland. No mountains whatsoever. I went to Vienna. If I had done research, I would have found out that not all of Austria is in the Alps. The rest is like a pancake. I didn't matter anyway, because I were there for a city holiday. Norway is not that extreme, no. But we have areas that are almost flat. Like around Oslo.
