Jewish Song Artists Envelop in Prayer | אמני השירה היהודית והסימפונית ירושלים - עוטפים בתפילה

- The best musical artists of Jewish music today: singers, cantors, and musicians, together with
the Jerusalem symphonic orchestra have come together to create this project, in order to raise
our spirits during these dark days.
Just before Passover we lift our eyes and voices to pray for redemption from darkness, from
oppression to freedom.
This project is dedicated to the families of the hostages and to all the bereaved families of this
war. The opening song, sung by Daniel Weiss, whose beloved parents, Shmulik and Yehudit,
were cruelly murdered in Kibbutz Beeri, is dedicated to their memory. May their memory be a
blessing.
This project is dedicated as well to the courageous soldiers of the Israeli army and security
forces who are risking their lives daily for the Jewish people. This is represented by the violinist,
Mordechai Sheinvald, whom we accompanied as he left Tel Hashomer hospital rehabilitation
after having been wounded in Gaza.
All the musicians have volunteered their time and expertise in this endeavor to strengthen the
spirit of the Jewish people all over the world.
מיטב אמני השירה היהודית, חזנים, בעלי תפילה, פייטנים, זמרים, מוזיקאים, ועוד יחד עם התזמורת הסימפונית ירושלים התגייסו והתנדבו להפקת עוטפים בתפילה כדי לחזק את הרוח בימים קשים אלו. רגעים ספורים לפני חג הפסח אנו מבקשים ומתפללים ליציאה מאפילה לאורה, משעבוד לגאולה.
הפרויקט מוקדש למשפחות החטופים והקורבנות של השביעי לאוקטובר אותם מייצג הזמר דניאל וייס בפתיחת השיר לעילוי נשמת הוריו שמוליק ויהודית מקיבוץ בארי.
הפרויקט גם מוקדש לחיילי צבא ההגנה לישראל וכוחות הביטחון, ללוחמים המחרפים נפשם ונותנים בגופם למען מדינת ישראל, אותם מייצג הלוחם, המוזיקאי והכנר מרדכי שנוולד אותו ליווינו ביציאה מהשיקום בתל השומר לאחר הפציעה בעזה.
הפרויקט מוקדש כולו לחיזוק רוח העם היהודי אשר בה פועלים כלל האומנים.
