Thanks so much for posting this, I never would have known my video of my son made the cut. I was teary-eyed watching the whole thing and then screamed when I saw my little guy at the very end.
we were there the first night it was shown and it was so beautiful, even though our picture was never shown it was AMAZING!!! maybe next time we go in 2013 we might see our picture up on the castle, if not it is still AMAZING:)
Also, i know you can't really tell from this video, but when i was in DisneyWorld i sat literally right in front of the castle's platform/stairs for this show and during the Pirates of the Caribbean part, they actually bring out Jack Sparrow fighting another pirate up on the balcony of the castle. It was really neat. :) Also.... this show made me tear up and kept in in awe. I never thought i would get to see it again, so thanks for posting. :)
Ok, so maybe I didn't cry. But this is really amazing! The stuff they do is just- Wow. I can't believe I missed this last year, can't wait to go back and see it.
I think Walt would have approved. Amazing what is possible. The projected fireworks at the end matching the real ones firing from behind are a special touch. Walt always said "plus it" and they did it again. This is going to be an extremely popular show.
I didn't think that Wishes could be outdone, but I think it well and truly has. I sat watching this video covered in goosebumps, hairs on the back of my neck at right angles to my skin with happy tears raining down my face. Thank you for posting this and I agree with bigart0944 that Walt would have most definitely approved. Involving guests in the show is so wonderful.
This is a very clear recording. I was just there this past 4th of July. For Disney to do this made our visit to the Magic Kingdom even more of an experience my family and I will never forget.

Just returned from my first trip to Disney. Everyone kept telling me "You HAVE to watch Wishes, it is the neatest part of being at Magic Kingdom!" Well, they were wrong. THIS show is the neatest thing I have ever seen in my life. It just made my jaw drop, made me cry, and honestly the Wishes fireworks after it were frankly boring compared it it. Wow. Just wow.

@ilovedisney84 Thanks! It's so cool! He's the smiling little boy at the very end in the video portion before the screen goes black for the finale. We were riding Dumbo. It's at 10:04 I believe in this video, right after the little girl on the carousel. We were not planning on coming back this summer, but we decided we have to come see it in person so we are coming back.!!! Can't wait till August!
As usual, the imagineers do it again. Maybe a little late getting into HD Video on buildings but now this show will be hard to top by anyone. The fireworks timing from video to pyro at the end is perfect.
thanks for putting this up so quickly. can't wait to hear your opinions on the podcast but I thought that was incredible, encapsulated the disney spirit beautifully, it's amazing how far technology has come that they can imaganeer these things for us. walt at the end was a very nice touch.
Yep I saw it a few weeks ago and it is 100% better than what they showed when it first opened. In less than 1 year they have designed a show, opened it, fixed all the problems, redesign some scenes, and then ended the show. I hope they have learned from this show and will be able to make the next show even better (if possible).
My wife and i went from 7-31-11 to 8-2-11. best place on earth!! wonder how they made the castle look like a space ship? incredible!!! we're from Ohio by the way; God bless to all who come to this HAPPY PLACE!!! PEACE.
I’ll tell ya one thing. I converted this audio file to MP3 years ago and if I hear it anywhere else, I think it’s just not the same without the “Joe, Joe”
@oeshpdog2 The only thing i have heard about wishes is that they are thinking adding on to it by adding more movie themed parts in it like Dumbo or long that line now this is just a rumor

When I was there this summer, my boyfriend and I heard someone mention this show was starting over the speaker. It sounded like a slideshow of dumb tourists, so we kept walking. Needless to say, I'm rather depressed now.
