- In this episode I return to Yellowstone National Park. I haven't been back since 2020. Base camp is in West Yellowstone which I visit for the first time. Winter is still hanging on at the end of May in Montana and Wyoming! Join me as I explore the iconic park and see tons of wildlife! I love Yellowstone as it is one of the last truly WILD places in the US.

I bought a camper and truck three years ago to have my dream road trip to Yellowstone. I arrived to find it displaying its beauty and bounty exactly the way you've shared it with us this morning! I yearn for my third trip in 2023. I encountered 17 degrees most mornings in October. But, with all's the grandeur to behold and breataking beauty I didn't mind too much! What a surprise to open with your beautiful video. Coffee in hand I'm ready to get inspired!😎

My great-grandma used to play piano in the Yellowstone lodge to entertain guests and members of the CCC that were living in the park in tents with their family to earn money after the Great Depression. Yellowstone was built on the legacy of our ancestors hard labor. I am grateful for their sacrifices.

So many things to love about this video! We first fell in love with hiking videos watching Joey’s MyOwnFrontier videos, which were spectacular. So it was especially good to see your friend Joey in this week’s video! Catherine, the videography in this Yellowstone video was simply stunning! I actually had to hold back emotional tears at the beauty of the canyon and Lamar valley. And then laughing out loud watching the baby bison run and play! All around one of your best videos to date!!! We love watching your videos and look forward to their release each week!

Like many fly fishermen in western Montana where the summer days are almost Arctic in length, I often do not start fishing until the cool of the evening. Then in the Arctic half-light of the canyon, all existence fades to a being with my soul and memories and the sounds of the Big Blackfoot River and a four-count rhythm and the hope that a fish will rise.
Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of those rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the words are theirs.
I am haunted by waters.

Wonderful footage, I loved seeing the little red dog run! I really need to get back to Yellowstone, we can do it as a day trip but there's so many other great places to see in Montana that are less crowded. It's pronghorn calving season, you may see some of those too! You are fortunate you were on the west side for Memorial weekend, Red Lodge got 4 feet, some people had to abandon their campers because they couldn't get them out. Looking forward to seeing more!
