Jessica and Hoyt have so much chemistry though. Maybe it was just me but in their scenes together it just seemed like they're meant to be.

This is really cute. I used to do that with my dad :'(. Something about a dad holding you makes you feel so safe and the kisses just made you feel connected.

See after every episode I would go to her blog and watch her videos, they kinda help tell the story in a personal way. They're cool because it gets to tie some loose ends, like we see she's actually giving the blood to Bill, also we get to see what happens in the mean time while other things are going on. This little moment we see here just makes the story richer. God I'm gonna miss this show.

Totally agreed. And Deborah Ann Woll is such a complete actress, I feel she could play any role imaginable.
NavyCombatCorpsman Deborah is such an incredible actress, I think she's the best on the show (certainly she is out of the girls). She already has a role lined up after this series (she is going to be in the new Daredevil miniseries produced by Netflix). She's got BOTH the looks and the talent. I hope she becomes a big star, she deserves it.

Yeah, a few hours ago I saw Jessica's blog video: Who is Bill Compton? And I was like: it's quite sad that we know more of Bill's past (thanks to flashbacks) than Jessica. So this video makes me happy.

This is one of my favourite shows if ALL time. I loved the Jessica and Bill relationship. I remember an interview he did, I think after season 2, when he said that the director had asked him to see her NOT as the bratty baby vamp, who wanted to feed on humans, dress like a "slattern", but as a girl who had just lost her entire world that she had known and had no idea of where she belonged. That, according to Stephen was when he felt that paternal reaction and it showed so much. I loved her character, as did Charlaine. Deborah was an excellent actress on a show this wild- and to think she was only meant to be in those scenes in season 1, to all the way through the series was awesome to watch, and she started to get stories of her own, like first love, the extreme part of religion stepping out to her firsts, really watching her grow up, forming relationships, Hoyt, Jason, James, and the end of the show with that beautiful montage as Jason talks about how they were were "soul mates", and "meant to be with", intercut with the love scene I thought was beautiful.

I love it when Bill and Jessica talk because he is like a father to her. Her real father was a real piece of shit. I know Bill was an asshole when he was a vampire god. But then he went back to the Bill Compton we knew when True Blood first aired. I wish Bill was Jessica's dad.

Makeup Department FAIL! It is also worth noting that because Jessica's vlog requires the whole thing to be shot as a master shot with no close ups or angles. Bill's civil war dreaming is even more awkward than usual.

Last night's episode was very entertaining but Hoyt killing Violet made no sense at all - How did he get there? did he speed after Jason in arented car. and he didn't notice (even Jason ain't that clueless) and WHY? if he was just following his gf why go inside? he doesn't 'know' Jason or the others, and nobody told him Violet killed Maxine (I think Jason told him in the episode before the guy was caught) Seems like Bill is going to let himself die as a preview shows he wants to 'set her free' but who knows.

I remember now - lol, It was justified, but still, how did he know, etc, and all the other parts I mentioned. Suspending disbelief for fantasy elements is one thing, but there is no narrative sense to it. The 2 people I know in person who saw this both agreed that it made no sense (they said worse things - lol)
batgurrl He must have secretly followed them as soon as they took off. They just didn't show it to not spoil it. They wanted the viewers to be shocked by it. I've seen stuff like this in movies many times, where a person comes out of nowhere. You shouldn't be surprised.

I love the weird maker/progeny relationship. So interesting. Its like Eric and Pam. She is like a daughter to him, but they have slept together. And they mean everything to each other. True Blood is definitely a unique show. That is for sure. ;-)

I was telling my friend who doesn't watch TB about how I ship Eric and Pam but not *necessarily* romantically and she said "wait they aren't together?" and I was like "uhhh sorta. Sometimes. It's kinda hard to explain." Their relationship is probably the hardest to define but the strongest of all relationships on the show.
