So if Feldway hadn’t retreated, he could have possibly eliminate masayuki since nova break exhausted all of Rudra soul energy? Or Velgrynd still being there wouldn’t have allowed too, there is that. I guess since Raphael was also more rational and then ciel found better use of Uriel as a “means to a end” to achieve a “god like series ultimate skill”, she never tried to implement Uriel in a offensive way. Though had Rimuru witnessed the battle, ciel would probably try to copy Rudra swordsmanship skills since they still have Uriel abilities through shub-niggurath. But after all, Rimuru still has the attack that destroyed Michael, infused with Nihility collapse energy so the AP (attack power) is probably even higher.
Interesting as well is Ivarage mentioned in the epilogue, awakening after millions of years and obtaining a ego and even more inclined to destroy everything (I think it was also mentioned that after going into the slumber pre awakening, he wondered if there was someone worthy of his rage/hate and the new found emotions he acquired). Just confirming even further he might be the final villain that Rimuru will have to face alone after returning from the ends of time and space and also after defeating Feldway for good.
I find also curious that we have many characters of the top tiers with “the highest level of swordsmanship skills”:
Rudra (the first hero and the one that reigned as the strongest of them for centuries, personally taught by Veldanava)
Guy Crimson (Strongest Primordial demon currently, mediator for Veldanava and the world and a equal to Rudra in terms of swordsmanship)
Chloe Aubert (Strongest Hero ever with a god like series Ultimate skill, survivor of a almost infinite time loop, fought guy equally in terms of swordsmanship alone in vol 12. Also has a undying passion and love for a slime, the sole reason she went through everything she did: to sought for a world where he didn’t die and they could be together)
Dino (Later stated in Vol 21 as the best swordsman ever, user of the famous Excalibur and Caliburn, mythical weapons created from the core of a star and on the same level as Deva and Asura (Rudra and Milim weapons). Though it’s just a statement since it was also stated his overall power was on par with only Benimaru if I’m not mistaken.
And as a honorable mention: we have Agera and his swordsmanship that surpasses Kondo and hakurou ones, possibly the best one out of all the “more normal beings” not including primordial demons and angels, and also heroes.

I think if Feldway didn't retreat and insisted on assassinating Masayuki (although this definitely doesn't fit his character), with Velgrynd, Testarossa, Hinata, and Masayuki's extraordinary supporting skills, the three of them could definitely delay until Rimuru returns. After all, Rimuru quickly returned to Ingrassia. In Volume 19, many characters were strengthened, but Velgrynd was weakened. I think Velgrynd shouldn't be that weak, but the author mercilessly weakened her, probably to highlight Rudra's necessary arrangements.
I feel like TenSura's swordsmanship has become quite chaotic. Every time they say it's the strongest, and then a bunch of 'strongest swordsmanship' appears. But Ciel should be the strongest, right? After all, no one else can use that swordsmanship. Leon should also be quite strong, and Albert and King Gazel are also very strong. But they probably aren't on the same level as Dino and Rudra in terms of strength.
@@lighteningball well she can utilize a swordsmanship technique even Rimuru has difficulties in controlling, so it’s better to say she has the best technique but not the best in overall skills. Velgrynd has the duty to protect masayuki who is fragile by himself, so she can’t go all out and use all of her destructive power since it would also affect ingrassia. The odds are against her, compared to vol 15 when she fought Rimuru and could use everything she had.
As for Albert and Gazel, they still got quite far despite their limited power and such, with pure hardwork. Rudra and Dino are just blessed beings, a high human able to live for centuries and even some thousands of years and personally taught by Veldanava and Dino a angel created by Veldanava billions of years ago and with tons of experience. It’s really hard to overcome such beings after all

I completely agree. Feldway's feelings for Veldanava are a bit twisted, like those of an abusive man, with an extremely strong desire for control.

It’s honestly crazy how strong prime rudra is, ik he fought guy to a stalemate and got a true dragon simping for him but it’s still crazy to see, the way he utilizes his ultimate skills and his swordplay as well. So as of now can we assume the power scaling to go

This Rudra is actually stronger than the prime Rudra, since he possessed both Oath and Justice. I don’t think this Rudra is stronger than Michael tbh, Michael just unfortunately met with Rimuru, if he fight with others, he would not die

I do believe ciel knew a way to break castle guard but let's face it.
Feldway/Micheal at the time had more loyal followers than tempest. Rudra/masayuki had the loyalty of eastern empire plus the western nations (how do you beat that?)
There's also the possibility that ciel was always making plans ahead for when there's a favorable way to explore that opportunity (it's been just two occasions rimuru encountered Castle guard) can't go out throwing your cards out when the opponent could still come back stronger
Great point, Yeah, Masayuki has so many supporters that no one is stronger than him in that regard. If he uses the castle guard, it’s likely that no one will be able to break through. Ciel usually only shows her strongest abilities when Rimuru is in danger, and the castle guard didn't make Rimuru struggle much the two times it appeared.

When Feldway has rudras power why he don’t use time stop to defeat hinata, rudra or someone else
good question! I have no idea tbh, one possible explanation might be Feldway understood time stop, and could move in that world, but he could not activate it. Or probably bcs of lucky field from Masayuki/Rudra could counter time stop effect. TenSura is not a song of ice and fire, far away being perfect
Because feldway doesn't feel the need to used time stop to people who's clearly too weak
