When Julie Edwards first met Lindsey Troy as a student in her crocheting class, she never would have guessed it would have led to anything more than a lesson.
"Lindsey walked in one day because she thought if she started crocheting some stuff, she could sell it over the holidays and make some extra cash," Edwards says. "So I taught her how to crochet and it was a really small class that night … so we found out all about each other's lives."
After bonding over some of the challenges that many musicians face, the two got to know each other and came together to form Deap Vally.
