I was honestly thinking about gluing the lbs on my slim midi because I’ve left it for a week and loc-tite won’t hold it. I think you’ve convinced me 😂

The dry superglue might gum up the threads a bit and make pivot feel tighter?
Nah it comes right out. If not when u break it, just spray some air in. Perhaps if u did it a few times. Then u just soak it in acetone for a few hours and clean it out.
Just got a Yeager does anyone know where I can get a zircuti kit or mokuti kit for this knife? Thanks
I get your frustration with loctite and the Yeager. Not sure why, as ever other Reate I’ve had stays fine, but this knife has always walked on me too.

I have started super gluing pivots too, waiting ages and it doesn’t even hold is damn annoying. My mini Buster was way more drop shut than those out da box 😜👊

This has been and always was my knife so i don’t think anyone snuck slick em all in there. While i think it’s probably great, i did not have the best luck with it in bearing knives
I purchased and tried to install the 6mm 1/16 16 ball skiff bearings in my knife Joy exclusive and they just don’t work. They fit around the pivot barrel and into the cutouts in the blade but the blade doesn’t want to move once I tighten everything down. These bearings are way tighter then the original. I’m not sure what’s up with them. The 6mm 1/16 13 bearings are not big enough to fit in the bearing pockets in the blade
The 6mm 1/16 13 will work. And the multi row definitely work too. Something is up with either ur knife or that set of skiffs. Try flipping the washers.
@@LeftyEDC I tried 4 times with the 16 ball and had no success. The blade just doesn’t move freely and the lock bar keeps making noises. The width when installed looks way wider. Just installed the 13 ball and they work good but just don’t fill up the whole blade pocket. The balls on the 16 ball move freely so I’m not sure what’s up with them. I have a Maxace black mirror coming soon and they say they use the 16 ball.
@@anything_knife_related5647 send me the knife 😂. Ive skiffed like 10 Yeagers so i know both sizes fit well. Are you seating the pivot and collar in right? That can be weird sometimes.
@@LeftyEDC Im definitely putting everything together correctly. The pivot collar on the show side has the two little dibbles that locks the pivot in place. I just going to leave the 13 ball in the knife for now. I might purchase another set of 16 ball too see if the one I have are different.

The bearings? Cuz im a skiff guy haha. Adds more ceramic balls. More surface area equals smoother.

@@LeftyEDC for the 20.5 & ad20 but not the slim. It’s has 1/4inch pivot with the 1mm balls
