I first came across Chris when he was still a kid uploading his ridiculously tasty guitar playing as videos on CZcams in the early days of it, when decent covers of Hendrix and SRV were rare things indeed. Super cool to have seen him start a successful pedal company since then!
Two min in and I’m blown away. I stopped here because I fell in love with Hendrix’ playing 45 years ago, and SRV about ten years later. But I’m embarrassed and incredibly impressed bc I thought the Pedal Pawn guys just had this really cool guitar page I followed. But your pedals really capture old school sound. Thanks Andertons 🙏
Didn’t do the Texan Twang justice through that rig. That thing does some amazing things through a Deluxe Reverb/Super Reverb a little on the cleaner side before adding the pedals. More Sayce/SRV sounding. Hey can’t go wrong either way. Great pedals guys, I love mine.
Very easily rated for me as THE best sounding pedals Andertons have ever shown on the channel. At last someone has waited until its nailed before going into production instead of just deciding to stop work cos its 5pm on a Friday and saying "that'll do" Well done gents and Thank you 🙏

As a studio musician, Pedal Pawn is hands down my favorite brand lately💚 Friend had me try out a Texas Twang and I had to go order my own by the end of the day! I own 3 of their pedals and counting✨ 10/10, strongly suggest
Such a delightful video! Lee seems to make everyone comfortable, asks great questions and teaches us as he learns. All the best to Pedal Pawn and Anderton's!
That was some smoking guitar playing! Really glad I picked up a Diaz Texas Ranger on my travels, I can see that Pedal Pawn have picked the best to honour.
This video just flew by. It felt like I was in the room with Leo Fender when he was figuring out how to create the 'heavy metal amps' with Dick Dale as stunt-guitarist. The 1st pedal sounded like ZZ Top. The 2nd sounded like Stevie. The 3rd was Jimi. The Octavia sounded sweet! Very Buddy Guy, Santana & SRV. I would send these pedals to: Buckethead, Gunthrie Govan & RichaardEB as these are the 'best' guitarists on YT, IMHO. You guys are carrying on Leo & Les Paul's work. ROCK ON! \M/ I would also send one to Gaven Duune of Mircale of Sound fame. Him & LittleVMills are trending really hard right now as creators. I'd love to see what the 'new guys' could do with them, not just the Pros! Subbed for more future videos!
I have owned a lot of high dollar "Jimi" pedals from the likes of Roger Mayer, FoxRox, Real McCoy, DryBell, and Analog Mike among others. These are the best that I have ever heard. The Gypsy Vibe is truly great, and now they have the pedal interface. Best vibe ever. And the Octavia is also among the best I've heard. Just remember to put your Strat on the neck pup.
I'm sure I'm not the first to say it, but being from the States every time any of the three say "Pedal Pawn" in their across-the-pond accents, I hear "Pedal Porn". Which is super awesome. Great vid, and learned a lot about some people I've never heard of.
I don't get it if I'm honest. Tone City pedals seem to be as decent as anything out there, and they're what, £50 max. I don't get what benefit you get from a pedal that costs 4x that amount. They sound great, but that's the player.
It’s not the player, Tone City pedals are budget pedals with cheap components, they are designed to be close approximations and in some certain cases they are good enough for the application but for the most part they miss the mark terribly, especially when it comes to fuzz/transistor based and modulation pedals.
To be honest, if you can't hear the difference and don't need a pedal to last then stick with the tone city. I hope this doesn't come across in the wrong way tone city certainly can be the pedal you need. I just upgraded to a full tone vibe (£240 but worth it to me) and the difference is crazy in tone 🤷♂️
First stumbled across Pedal Pawn because of their NAMM stuff. Very much love the Texan Twang and now I want the Gypsy Vibe and Octone too. Captain is supremely good at twisting knobs and finding great tones.
Wonderful boxes but £395.00 for a vibe pedal that you’ll probably use a lot at first then rarely , live the effect sometimes gets lost in a band mix unless it’s really loud , but hey if you’re a Jimi / Trower tribute act then I’m sure it’s fantastic .
Yes. I ve been waiting for this. Would love to see a comparison between the Pedal Pawn Texas Twang, the Fulltone CS Ranger Booster and other Rangemaster clones into TS clones (Maxon 808, TS9, JHS).
Congrats on the new release guys, pedal pawn fuzz is on par with any fuzz on the market, I once was running two fuzz because I couldn’t decide to take my analogman sun face or my pedal pawn fuzz off the board because they were equally as good
Texan twang gave me what I was missing on my tone. Really awesome pedal….the octone in still messing with kinda wish I just went with the normal fuzz but time will tell. I need the gypsy vibe and hope they make a wah soon

Any made at that quality, snd it’s considerably higher quality than say JHS, Fulltone, etc., they all cost nearly that much. Sabbadius, Argnziiano, Kingtone, Reaver FX, Roger Mayer, etc. all make a more vintage Vibe, with upgrades for problems the old one had, and some have the preamps(Sabbadius), as well.
