Gap Filling kits and Accessory kits are each types of Upgrade kits for the figure.

I bought the Barricade hip extension from TFSafari. You should check it out because that mould REALLY needs it. Once you notice they look like dwarves straight out of TLotR you cannot unsee it!
I remember when I was 5 years old and my first time watching you unbox the bumblebee revenge of the fallen transformers you have grown so much.
They put a filler piece for everything but the most important thing, the top of the vehicle mode
Hit'em with some white paint then semi-gloss seal coat before installing them.

I dont know if you have seen it or have the time Emgo, but there is a pretty nice leg upgrade for the Prowl/Barricade mold.

Yea I have mine in a unopened box. I opened ironhide but since ratchet and crosshairs are just remolds I just left them in their boxes.
Before the back filler was inserted id call that a reverse backpack

If the gaps don't effect the Transformation, THAN WHY ARE THEY THEIR IN THE FIRST PLACE.....
Weight? Cause leaving the piece whole (non-gapped) helps mold & tooling time.
I had to purchase the Michael Bay green version of rachett the other day because that is the Only version of rachett that's fully available at the stores in my state !!! They won't sell the G1 version of rachett at all and I don't even know how one person whould even go about purchasing the Upgrade kitt does it actually come with him or do you have to do it seperatly !!! Back in the eightys rachett had so many defects it was absolutely disgusting and to make matters worse they cut off his head and then released him in the stores like that !!! Wich was wrong on so many levels that I can not even begin to go over the ways !!! And now the only version of him with any Improvements that's even available in any stores at all is the Michael Bay's one !!! So I don't even know how you got these items emgo !!! We don't even carry them here at all !!! But if there is one good thing I can say for Michael Bay's version of rachett or iron Hyde for that matter is that when Michael Bay released his version of those figures he actually in fact Did try to make full improvements on those figures and he actually did fully correct any and all original defects involving those figures in the first place !!! That's a fact !!! Say what you whant about him !!! But he did at least do that For us original g1 fans !!! Just saying !!!
