He genuinely has feelings for Faye, I could see his pain. I also understand Faye, being put in that situation before, itâs always going to be tricky, especially as they werenât official. She knew that she messed up and it hit her ego hard. Their connection is the best out of the other couples in my opinion, I really hope they work things out and win. The producers did Teddy so wrong!!

Basically, prior to Casa Amor, Teddy and Faye had been together for about two weeks ever since Teddy entered the villa. They were going pretty strong and the day before Casa Amor, Faye stated that she'd let her guard down with Teddy; she was happy. Then, Casa Amor came and the girls (including Faye) were all closed off from the new boys - however, there was one boy in particular, Sam, who Faye wanted to get to know but decided not to because she had essentially fallen for Teddy. Two days into Casa Amor, the girls received a postcard that contained pictures of all six of the boys kissing or getting intimate with the new girls, so Faye's guard went straight back up, and she took this as an opportunity to get to know Sam. This is because she is so used to being stabbed in the back by boys that she assumed Teddy would recouple with another girl. However, this wasn't the case; Teddy had stayed loyal to Faye all throughout Casa Amor, he slept on the daybed and didn't even so much as look at the new girls, but he had indeed kissed one of the girls during a game of Truth or Dare on the first night. Faye was upset because this was a game instead of a challenge. Everyone is required to participate in challenges as they're set up by the producers, but games are just fun activities set up by the islanders themselves, so it wouldn't be the end of the world if someone refused to participate (but the producers were probably egging on the islanders to participate). Come recoupling, Faye decided to recouple with Sam because she thought Teddy was going to return with a new girl, but he didn't. She probably coupled up with Sam to avoid making it seem like she was deeply hurt if Teddy had returned with another girl. Earlier on in the series, Faye could be described as cold-hearted and closed off, but we've seen that this isn't the case when she's with Teddy. It just shows how insecure she is, and she had to protect herself in some way. The viewers of Love Island are all fuming at the minute considering how manipulated the postcard was, and how the producers really upset the contestants for the content... I hope this cleared up the situation.

When the boys left for Casa Amor, the girls were tasked with packing the boys' suitcases (because they had to leave discreetly, they had no time to pack their suitcases) and some of the girls packed little things for her boy to remember her by: Liberty packed one of her bras for Jake, Millie gave Liam her special Sagittarius necklace, Kaz gave Tyler her robe and Faye gave Teddy her teddy bear. Teddy walked out holding her teddy bear as a romantic gesture! So no, the teddy bear didn't exactly mean that their relationship was over, but he dropped it because it would have been a bit awkward to hand it to her when she had just coupled up with another boy. That, and because he was feeling very emotional.
