I have bought it in September 2023 and I really like it! It is the best budget option I could afford, I use it mainly for drawing.
I also bought this iPad couple months ago to complement my MacBook Air m1! I mostly use it for uni and entertainment!
Most people are watching Netflix or reading books. For $249.99 this is a steal
I just picked this up at Best Buy on sale for $249. This will be my first iPad, I just could never justify the price before since it's just something I will use on the couch. Perfect time to pick one up.
Are you using it for gaming? Specifically emulation.
@@torregoshi6055 Nope. Just for browsing social media, and other tasks that I might do on my mobile phone but with a larger screen. I have a Steam Deck that I use for gaming on the go.
@@torregoshi6055itâs great for gaming, emulation works great as well.
Thank you, for your excellent comments about your iPad. Have owned the basic iPad 9th generation for several years and, my model has maxed out specifications 256GB and the cell data option and, it is also paired with a Logitech Combo Touch Keyboard and, the Apple 1st generation pencil. In addition, I have several Apple lighting adapters for my digital camera, SD cards, and USB 2.0 flash drives (smile...smile).
hello! what app do you use for your widgets? đ 8:03
Hey i am a big fan from 2022 I love your content and videos
got one now to join my m1 macbook air and iphone 11 as my daily drivers and complete the ecosystem! i wouldn't really need to bring multiple chargers now since the ipad and the iphone 11 has the lightning port so that's easier when we go travelling, i bought a cheapo stylus for it just so i can know if it will be wise for me to actually invest on the real pencil or just buy a slightly better version of the stylus.
I have one now and itâs still great to use đđ„
Why do all ipad reviewers have the pencil sticking out and dont mention that you can get a dongle to charge the pencil
Yes, you are correct if, just charging the Apple 1st generation pencil, it can be plugged directing into a wall outlet. What each CZcams reviewer should say, is something like this: "however, to pair the pencil to your iPad, you have to let it stick out of the lighting port for about 2-minutes" (smile...smile).
@@transitengineerit takes less than 3-5 seconds to connect.
The dongle charges the pencil insanely slow thatâs probably why no one mentions it. Plugging it in the iPad or a iPhone charges it in less than 15 minutes. Plugged in the wall it takes over an hour regardless what wattage charger you use. Itâs pointless to plug it in the wall anyways when it takes only a short shower time frame to fully charge via just plugging it in the iPad.
@@naytewilson Yes, you are correct perhaps, I should have said less than 15 seconds (smile...smile).
@@naytewilson Thank you, for letting me know. I have owned two (2) basic iPads that only support Apple's 1st generation pencil the 6th generation and the 9th generation but, have never tried to charge my pencil using an electrical outlet (smile...smile).
Mad the switch to apple this year after I was disappointed with the performance of a new galaxy s6 lite tablet and my Samsung flip 3 had a screen issue that is more expensive to fix than just buying a new one altogether. Got the SE 3 for the phone and 9th gen for the iPad. It performs better than the s6 lite for the same price, although I had to spend 50 on eBay for an Apple Pencil. The biggest con to me is only 64 gig onboard storage.
Please note, the basic iPad 9th generation also comes in 256GB. This is the model that, I own (smile...smile).
I bought this iPad in November 2023 because my iPad Air 2020 quit working. It works just fine but the battery life is bad compared to the iPad Air I had đ it was only $239 so I canât complain too much
Why? My I have the 9th Gen and it takes me days to charge again.
@@lalainetanishasulicipan7240Agreed! I recently bought a IPad Air 5, the battery literally sucks. My daughter now have my 9th gen. Iâm debating to get a 9th gen again.
Yes itâs battery is the best in any ipads
In my experience, you canât actually charge your iPad with your USB-C iPhone because the power delivery is insufficient. Even the iPad 9th-gen needs higher output than the iPhone can deliver.
i thought you had the ipad pro?
I did but ended up not keeping it cause I wasnât using it enough to get value for what it cost!
