The ones I use are the Krylon clear glossy coat and you may also use the E6000 spray just make sure you spray from far and also let it dry in between spraying also try not to get your ribbons with the Krylon they could get stained. Very beautiful! Stuck in the house. I'll have to order the ribbon online. I need more details. Are you using wired ribbon. How wide? Looks like 2'' ribbon.
Hello Yvonne! Thank you and yes it’s hard not being able to go anywhere. Honestly ordering ribbon online is so much more affordable and you get more for your money. Joanne’s and Michaels sell 3 yard rolls for $4 and online you get 10 yards per roll for only two dollars more. I use a combination of 1.5” and 2.5” and it’s always wired. Check Trendy Tree, Craft Outlet, and The Wreath Shop for ribbon and mesh. I hope that helps. Please stay safe and healthy. Lori.

I just want you to know how easy you make this wreath look. I have been working all night to get two pieces put on the frame. Watched the video a couple of times. Do you use the whole 10 in piece of ribbon to make the loop.

Hello Marie! Don’t get discouraged because it just takes practice and I have been doing it for a long time but I know you can do it. With the loop, I take the 10” ribbon and fold it in half and then pinch in the middle of the folded piece to make the loop. I hope that makes sense and let me know if you need any other help. If you wanted to make this same wreath but on an 8in wire wreath how long would you cut ribbons? Also how many ribbon pieces in a bundle would you put?
Hi Cathy! I’ve never used an 8” wire wreath but I would do 6” Ribbon Tails with two ribbons in each bundle. Make sure you test out two Ribbon Tails before cutting all of them. Thank you, Lori.
I have a hard time chris crossing the ribbons- Is there an easier way to hold them when putting them together?
Hello Beth! As long as you put the tails together, pinch in the middle, and pull on the ends before placing them on the wreath, then you can criss cross them after. One big tip is to not be afraid to pull on the tails after putting them in the tie because they aren’t going anywhere. Just pull and criss cross. I hope that helps. Thank you, Lori.
