Mr Steyer is wrong to say individual action doesn't make a difference because it most certainly does! In a country with a fickle system meaning that today we are part of the Paris Accords but tomorrow we aren't depending on who is in power. So individual initiative becomes absolutely important! It takes the Government years to make changes and we don't have that kind of time anymore. From the NASA Science website: 'In 1896, a seminal paper by Swedish scientist Svante Arrhenius first predicted that changes in atmospheric carbon dioxide levels could substantially alter the surface temperature through the greenhouse effect.' We've known for that long and we can't wait any longer. This interview reminds me of 'Don't Look Up'.

More technology is not necessarily the answer. Maybe we need to look for simpler solutions - get back to nature - recover community - etc.
