- Every hero in BTD6 has different strengths and weaknesses, but which ones are the overall best in the different game categories such as chimps, freeplay and boss fights? In this guide we will take a look at every hero in the game so you know which one to buy first!

Poor Sauda, always in trouble with the engineers
Another hero, one with a jetpack if i remember correctly, should be coming out soon. What game modes do you think it will be useful in? Given it has a jetpack, im guessing it has alot of range and will be the 2nd hero that can be placed over land and water just like Pat. Hope it gets paired with some cool synergies or something!
Maybe it’ll get a hover/ability where it gets range over obstacles on the map.
Maybe a burnout ability that sends a cone of flames while he’s hovering. It’s likely it’ll be a mobility ability.
Sauda's leaping sword actually attacks using her targeting and global range
Also since the pool bug got fixed, I think you missed your chance of getting an extremely high freeplay round (it used to give you infinite footprint so you can just stack savatar for as high of a round as you want, I got to 350 then quit because it's too boring + laggy but with a good PC I think you can get to r1000 no problem, maybe try it on a old version APK)

worth noting that unlike Corvus and Adora, Churchill also doesn't have a way of giving himself XP, so he's in reality the single slowest-levelling hero in the game
Changing Churchill to level at 1.5x like Ben and Psi I feel wouldn't make him much more powerful.
He's literally a tank, though. Everything about him should be slow and expensive. Would rather see him get more powerful.
He is still insanely good at lower levels, you don't need to buff him

Worth noting that Etienne's UCAV can't hit black or zebra properties (including DDTS) until level 20, at which point it can, but only while the ability is active (the permanently active part still can't)
I don't even know why people care about this fact as if you don't have a MIB

@@exquisicy5429 I mean with the cost of call to arm you can just buy supports that slow the bloon down to more than half speed and not rely on an ability so it usually isnt worth it
You're kinda sleeping on Striker Jones especially with how strong and easy-to-use Recursive Cluster is right now

striker jones with recursive cluster is a good starting strategy since striker is free
Mortar has even better synergy with Striker's lvl 10 as Artillery Battery has a long cooldown compared to bomb's MOAB Assassin.
Problem with mortar is micro, even with Striker's lvl 7 ability. ( hence why less intensive players avoid using it )

Unlike Churchill, Corvus has the Nourishment spell & Adora has the Blood Sacrifice ability to circumvent their extremely slow levelling up rate. Great video MackanRules! 👍

Personally my favorite hero is Adora, but I’ve been using a lot of Geraldo lately cause he’s just so versatile. He’s never a bad choice
For ultra late game guess would be Adora/Ezili without looking at the video lol
Striker Jones is the most used hero at a high level when grinding medals. Jones + recursive makes the game playable essentially AFK until round 100 earlier than any other combination

@@CozAqua I did Middle of the Road on Impoppable, just one recursive cluster deals so much damage when in Jones' range. It was solo killing groups of BFB's pretty much. I did buff it with top path village of course, but not alch.
Pat and Adora are known for making solo 1 tier clears in competitive CT when paired with the right relics
Jones comps are still very high tier in CHIMPS, he's often considered top 5. He also buffs Spike Factories efficiency by 25%, which is quite ridiculous.
Jones is done very dirty in this video, he was meta pre buffs and is even better now.

@@Frosted_cheese I've played competitive CT a lot, and it's quite populated. Our team has made it into the top 25 global quite a few times too, but the top 1-10 are mostly organized smurfing Discord groups made to ''cheese'' the matchmaking. It's fun, organized competitive CT is probably the best way to improve your BTD6 skills in all aspects rapidly. Tens of thousands of players are playing it consistently, but that might be a tiny fraction of the massive BTD6 audience, hence why it's considered ''dead'' in comparison to other modes 😭

With Sauda it would be even easier but she is banned for least cash and least tiers
Personally, I think Corvus is by far the best hero.
Granted my opinion is biased in that I love heroes that can do it all. Which is why previously my main was Geraldo. However Geraldo still requires you to sink cash into him, which you could've otherwise used for towers. You don't need to do so with Corvus, he can solo carry himself whilst also preserving your cash, granted you are good enough with him, which I think is worth it.

I love geraldo.
But, if you are willing to micro, corvus is 2x as better than Geraldo, since if you are skilled enough, you can get a lot of banana farms before round 30.
I got six 1-0-0 banana farms before round 30 while using corvus

Think you made Striker Jones sound way worse than he is, he's certainly the best hero if you're going for a bomb or mortar strategy, and I have used middle path Mortars quite a few times after it got that big buff and I can vouch for it being a pretty good strategy.
Jones strats are some of the best in the game for many maps. His pierce buff makes permaspike broken too.

@@MackanRules Oh BTW azalea could easily be used in non chimps mode because once you get down a monkey Wall Street which makes it all the bottom path banana farm towers make one life at the end of each round if you got a monkey Wall Street and more then 19 (just to be safe) tier 4 bottom path banana farms you'll gain lives (at the end of each round) faster then azalea's totem drains lives. 😅😅😂😂🤣🤣

Hello mackan I am a race expert(I think) so I can say how good most of the towers are in races:
Quincy is pretty bad in races and only use him if too many Bloons leak
Gwen: THE BEST RACE HERO, you can start with her in most cases and you can sell her after the lvl3 ability while it is still active and rebuy her, use her a lot :)))
Striker jones: good for buffing and abilities bad damage output
Obyn and Corvus: complicating especially Corvus who used to have a mana shield bug where you can leak unlimited fortified moabs, but bad
Churchill: great at straight lines and cleanup
Benjamin: maybe better than gwen, place him early to get *lots of money*
Ezili: what
Pat: good abilities, bad damage output
Etienne: backup camo, otherwise pretty mid
Brickell: underrated and actually decent???
Adora: I don’t use her in races
She is that bad 💀
Sauda Arabia 🇸🇦🇸🇦: nice alternative to gwen, has amazing abilities
Psi: downright horrible, even ninja kiwi called (them) a bad race tower💀that’s how you know that it sucks
Geraldooooo: better than Corvus if you place him and his nft early, but also really good
Jet pack hero: I have no idea who bro is hopefully they don’t cost 10k monkey money

I dont have much to add to this except that Obyn's main thing is that he is an enabler. His posse goes completely mental if you surround him with ninjas and/or druids (and possibly throw a necromancer or a radar village into the mix for safety). And if you manage to get a permabrew, well.
Worth noting that [some[ hero abilities follow the hero's targetting, meaning you can target strong to put more dmg on a big bloon or target first to catch leaking bloons. Sauda's leaping sword and quincy's storm of arrows behave this way.

Another great video! Very surprised to hear your opinion of jones is so low, I thought he was a lot more popular now with PAA's rise (although this depends on what you're wanting to do, so understandable his niche is very specific). & now that Covus' mana gain isn't so high I feel the idea that Corvus is so micro heavy isn't as true as it first was, there's a learning curve as you work out what all his spells do but the micro really isn't as 'intensive' as people make it out to be once you've learned that.
He's definitely underestimating Jones a lot.
I feel like brickell nerf should be reverted, she's honestly the most high skill hero by far rn due to mega mine placement being so precise, she's obviously great with correct setup but that setup is very hard to use especially on harder map so I think that nerf wasn't deserved at all

I used to use most of the heroes based on the map and strategy but avoid striker like the plague because any strategy I had another hero fit way better.
But with his rework I’ve started using him for the pierce buff combined with things like Permaspike and tackzone.
I think quincy is really nice, he is really useful as a strategy solver in chimps, like starting in medium difficulty, has camo by round 24, can deal with the early leads, and does well against 63, 78 and 96/98 that are usually the trouble rounds, he also has a lot of range so in a lot of difficult maps can cover multiple lanes and since is cheap you don't get him late and even if you do levels up so fast. If you're doing a strategy that doesn't require a specific hero he's massive to let you play with whatever you want.
Corvus is really good for a lot of maps where the heli is good. I’d say he’s easily top tier with half decent micro
I really like psi, great for advanced and expert map chimps and is just super cool overall. I want a Cop Psi skin called Psiren added into the game, but according to a NK dev, they don’t have anything like that planned at the moment
Honestly striker jones can be quite good in chimps because Moab mauler spam is very cheap, easy, and depends on striker jones
I like Corvus because of how fun he can be to play if you are really focused.
Geraldo is also fun and good eco.
Corvus is the hardest to use but definetly the single strongest Hero in the game (a bit easier to use now I guess)

Couldn't disagree more with the characterization of Striker Jones in this video. His concussive shell provides a massive amount of utility for dense rounds and the bomb/mortar strats with him are more versatile than you might think

i wouldn't say ezilie is worse in lategame noting developments in lategame strategy, mostly 402 ninjas despite being the definition of lag can scale to the level of godboosted temples thanks to theirseeking shuriken allowing for max peirce utilysation, their smaller footprint making skipping overclocks for additional ninjas viable and the shinobi buff being stronger than adoras blood sacrifice without being micro intensive.
the only time the strategy does become micro heavy with reselling is at the point the adora set up would die. just wish nk would group up spike piles to eliminate the lag spike towers make in general.

Corvus is good since you don't really have to put that much money in defenses early game.
That is if you are willing to micro A LOT.

imo obyn is the worst for only really being used for 1 chimps strat and striker while not being the best hero is still pretty good with his 25% pierce buff, another thing is the bomb strat with striker and the obyn druid strat are similar making them kinda the same there with just 1 strategy leaving their buffs to be compared. Obyn only buffs druids and magic monkeys a little bit but not enough to be worth it, and striker buffs everyone by 25% which can be insane for a lot of towers. didnt plan on making this super long but i hope i explained it decent

Yo mackan u should do the thing where you try to get as far as you can in easy mode again. With the accessibility feature, another Paragon, and the mk where paragons are buffed with no other t5s in the map you may get further.

striker got kinda underrated him that's entirely fair.
striker PAA is still goated as hell (2-5-0 mortar) as bomb shooters are well... still the worst tower in the game right now.
oddly enough, the thing that makes striker good is permaspike. permaspike practically gains 25% damage from this man, and permastall capabilities.
im a quincy main, realistically, fair enough, (AMD stacking is goated.)
gwen: mini permabrew lmao, still worse then half the heroes in this game but she's getting better slowly and surely.
obyn: still objectively the worst heroes outside of boss events where there is a slight chance 0-1-3 druid + 0-1-4 druid spam is wanted for least cash
corvus: chimps god, useless anywhere else, which is realistically exactly the type of niche i want more of.
churchill: needs buffs, and or energizer, and only that used in chimps.
ben: useless outside of boss events, and uh.... uncontested in boss events, again, love these niches. (ironically he's better then obyn in chimps, because you can block bloon trogen, and his level 10 makes 98 a joke)
pat: basically a melee-main moab that does a slightly worse buff then gwen, but can go onto water. he's not good right now, and realistically is simply outclassed, however i respect him flat lining his usefullness
ezili: moab hex is godlike, prob top 3 abilities in the game (top 2 being overclock and sabo) with pathetic main attacks to compensate. totem is amazing in boss events, and... heartstopper... bottom 1 ability in the game... lets ignore that one.
adora: chimps god, lategame god, anything else shes mid. (do note, shes the second hardest hero to use correctly in chimps)
entienne: 0-0-0 dart monkey that gives camo, and at level 20 does less dps then a 4-0-2 wizard... im good, bottom 3 hero and it's not even close, i don't care about "midgame saveups" because trust me, ucav isn't consistent at all one bit.
sauda: noobbait god
brickell: godlike chimps, godlike bosses. By far the hardest hero to use in the game but fucking hell she does well once you learn her. (5-2-0 boat... or 5-0-2 if you're wierd and REALLLY want mini-plane pierce, gets that much better with her)
psi: top one expert map hero, easy as hell to use if you don't want her at full capacity, and... eh ya, quite a simple hero that isn't used outside of the normal gamemodes, which is perfectly fine to me.
geraldo: not a micro hero, a thoughtful hero, you have to use braincells to use this guy, and once you do, hes gonna be great. Be real, everybody knows geraldo deserves to be good.
in terms of what the worst hero is? still obyn, not striker. obyn has zero usecases outside of least-tiers boss events. striker has godlike synergies.
(my bias still wants to say quincy #1 because well, godlike)

So why didn't they call it deflation? INgoring the issues of some people, Deflation would the overtime effect of having holes that slowly reduce the air of a bloon, not calling it that is a missed oppurtunity add the unique aspect that games story(?) Has.

Churchill needs a buff or rework. I use him less then Jones. He’s just too expensive and late game adora, ezili, and even Brickell can do WAY more damage
