School is starting for me on the 10th and I’m starting to get my supplies
The things that I would put in my bag are pencil case with pencil case with pens, pencils, a black marker for outlines, colours except for colouring pencils, a sharpener, an eraser, and a ruler, and a calculator, sticky notes, a maths set, log tables, some books to read, a folder, copies, notebooks, a bunch of snacks and a drink.

The backpack I grew up with was Lands End and LLBean brands, I would have them a few years to save money. The supplies I would replenish a few items each year.

I love that you can tell the kids are homeschooled based on what they think should go in bags and how items would be used 😂 My boys would be the exact same way, as well as trying to figure out what "grade" they are in.
I'm homeschooling my second year.
For my 7th grade I would pack takis for sure as for books the Harry Potter series and diary of the wimpy kid many note pads art supplies and a soccer ball
