Dabi reminds me of shigaraki after he grew up. They're both destruction walking living their death filled chaotic best life, all while buring down hero society with a laid back smile firmly in place collateral damage be danmed.☠️🙂
It's not a weird relationship. If you think about it, these two are the only 'normal' ones in the group, hence why they can get along or rather work with each other so well. They both act like regular young adults, with the mental capacity to follow their goals and strategies...which none of the other clowns can do, except for Shigaraki...which is by far not to be considered normal in a way but he's also their boss. If Shigaraki was part of the goons of the bad guy troop, he'd also be part of this relationship. Which is just a partnership, like co-workers in an office that work to achieve the same job/goal.
