It's bad enough getting whacked by the massive wave, but when it's using a jet ski as a knuckle duster...aye yai yai. They tread a fine line between brave and crazy. Glad they all walked away from it.

Having lived in Southern California and surfed every day for several years, being pulled under from a massive wave is one of the scariest things I have ever encountered. I have never surfed waves anywhere near this, but the constant punishment over and over makes you question your life choices.

Those who risk their life(s) by practising extreme sports, might actually end up dead, sooner or later.
It may appear suicidal but the point is definitely not death. Quite on the contrary, the point is life: an intense life, the experience of nature, and the shifting of standards through highest possible risk control. Big wave surfers are venturous, but most of us are not daredevils.

All I saw was an Enormous, Dark Shadow reaching Unfathomable heights, and thinking to myself, this might not end well!!!
Wave point brake. 3 timing 3 anticipations / options (for 2 to 4 meters)
Swim up (the wave lift you to the top but to lattely its a risk to fall with the brake).
Too late, you dive deeply has possible and make a ball with your body.
If you have time you can swim away to the beach only if the point break is and willnt on you.
At least there is no Great White.

Wtf are you talking about? Ever wiped out in a 3 meter wave yourself and witnessed the extreme force of water? Let alone 30 meters? Obviously not because then you wouldn‘t write such nonsense
You have obviously never been pummeled by a set of big waves. It knocks you out of breath and each subsequent wave does its best to finish you off.
Edit totally sucks. Don't change POV in the middle of the action. Show one POV, then show again for any alternate POVs.
