Even better than a conventional app-lock as you can set up dual apps within the Secure Folder and all the media is stored inside the Secure folder and not visible to the Main Storage space even while being connected via USB. This feature is still in works for Stock Android device (Pixels) which will be coming up as Private Space as introduced in beta 2 release of Android 15 update.
Depends on how the update situation is with Motorola now. Everything was almost perfect with the previous Moto UI, except the updates situation. Had Moto pushed updates timely, it would have been just the perfect UI on Android. I hope Hello UI improves the updates situation...

They have improved compared to their relative positioning amongst other brands, but it's still pretty poor and they still have some gap to cover as compared to competition. Coming to the UI situation, I believe if they could borrow three things from OneUI, while keeping all their present features, Moto can be unbeatable in the UI space. The three things would be 1. Updates; 2. Clone apps; 3. Customisations that are offered in Good Locks in OneUI. And I believe this is the lowest delta any UI has with a hypothetical perfect UI.

As a user of moto g9, g52 and edge 40 neo , l don't have much problem with Motorola regarding software updates , yes they are very late but they are stable and mostly not buggy and damaging. They don't ruin the experience for a long time unlike bbk or Xiaomi, etc . But the biggest problem is the resale or exchange value of their phones. They are always very lower than the competition. eg- for moto g9 it is max.₹2700 , for g52 -₹4300 , edge 40 neo - ₹10,000 , which is around 30% less than other brands' phones of same price range.😐😐

Using edge 50 pro for about 3 weeks and i'm loving the hello ui...feels stock with all the essential customisations and the animations are smooth af almost at par with oxygen os...a great value for money purchase...also the ready for features provides great seamless connectivity with my pc which feels super premium, saves a hell lot of time,takes it all a notch higher..

Honestly i dont care at all of this new UI and I'm even a bit worried cause I bought a Motorola for having a stock and pure experience not a fancy interface. But above all what I desperately waiting for, is android 14. And hoping for not a buggy one, thanks. Not to mention that I had not received a security patch since March.That's left this background feeling that Motorola has let down this model ( and many others ? ) This Motorola policy update turns out to be a joke. That's' the main complaint of many people, expressed in many topics and forums. And no communication, nothing from Motorola on this particular aspect. You should make and published a video on this crazy motorola update policy, it's going to have a great success ;) and perhaps it'll shake up Motorola staff.

Just some basics like fixing the BT Audio level, fixing BT volume control being disconnected from the BT device The stills camera needs the most attention but I doubt they have the skill set to fix the processing, I've given up and use GCam which transforms the image quality with the right build and tweaks. there's some other minor stuff but they can put together a decent combo of hardware just need a few software bits sorted. Though it's largely stable on the whole, and smooth and snappy as the GFs iPhone 14pro I sometimes use. With GCam the camera is way better than that too now

Because with stock 1x ,the phone feels laggy,but if dev mode turned on apps like mparivahan,digilocker,banking apps,even bsnl recharge app won't do its work. So either companies should add option to change window animation scale outside dev option or should beg developers to withdraw that from their apps
There is no network speed indicator which is I think is also a big miss. All of my old phones had it. And don't forget that they still don't provide their own gallery app.

Yes it does come with that widget, I have moto g34 Bhai ye moto g34 bike se gira aur toot gaya , 100 ka edge to edge screen guard bhi lagaya tha phir bhi crack ho gya Touch works fine though
The peek display is useful enough, from where you can just check the notifications and time . Though that doesn't have the customisation like other Android skins , so yeah it's not that bad if you are boring like me then you would like it 🤷🏽

OneUI is the best, just by the virtue of the updates and security. There is absolutely no other OS like it. Specially true in sceanrios of budget of 25k+

You can clone apps and have dual apps in the Secure folder. But yeah, that's still needed outside.
