Yeah, I hadn't thought about it, but you're right. Thinking about it now, I definitely can see how this project has helped me to memorize Psalms.
Their's actually real science behind that too! They've found that humans are better at remembering songs than just words themselves. I think they actually say it's is one of the absolute best ways for humans to easily memorize things.
Kinda makes sense why we teach children with music so often. Like the ABCs. We all can effortlessly recite the order of the Alphabet because it's a song, haha.

I can't stop listening to the Psalms project. It's all I listen to in the car now. They are incredibly uplifting ... to think the words were written 3000 years ago and still so resonant today.
Exactly! Thousands of years... Yet still perfectly fit for us today. And I also listen almost only to the Psalms Project nowadays, haha!

Love the Palms project it was a blessing to come across this on fb. Reminds me of when I first became a Christian and I was reading the Bible and it would say a song I would sing it too in my own way and didnt know others did the same so I was surprised and amazed when I found that you also do that and I just love how you say Pslams are meant to be sung. This is amazing! I love that we get a chance to hear the story of our Lord and Savior in the Psalms being put into music. I have been working on trying to incorporate a way to do a praise and worship segment in my worship services with trying to figure out how to make melodies into the Psalms when I pick them for my Call to Worship scriptures instead of just speaking the Scriptures each week when I begin my Worship Services each week. Praise Be to Our Great God and King and May His Steadfast Love Endure in our Hearts Forever. & May the Grace of God continue to rest, rule and abide with each one of us as we continue to do the work that He has called all of us to do for His Kingdom, His Glory and our Joy. @The Psalms Project, keep up the amazing work! Amazing the predictions in the psalm that came true between Jesus and Judas. And Jesus was so in control of the situation, because he knew Judas was going to betray him. I wonder if in some sense he knew when he learned the Psalms that they were about him, without being self-centered!
