Update: I got the procedure done yesterday and it felt like it was less than 10mins. I did have pronox, but I still felt the pressure and like pinching during the process. Once done I had to urinate before leaving to make sure I wouldn’t have any complications. I was sent home with a couple catheters just in case and advised to not be intimate for a month. For a couple hours after it felt like my bladder was extremely full. Today I am fine. Thanks for the information about Bulkamid😊
Have u felt any pain during the procedure or any irritation or uncontrollable? Coz am about to do it and looking at that long needle it scared me out of hell , kindly let me know
This all sounds wonderful. I have an appointment to have this procedure. The fact that Bulkamid is made from Polyacrylamide is making me have second thoughts, after learning more.
I had this done. Insurance does cover it, but of course you have to meet your deductible. I was put under sedation for the procedure and unfortunately it did not work. Ib will have to go in for another round, which means most likely a copay this time around.

Same questions, is it covered by insurance, and how often needed?
What are the cons of this? Having to self cath? UTI's?
Does insurance cover this at all?
How often do you have to get the injections?
It’s supposed to be once and it’s good for 5-10 years or even longer. That’s what my urologist said
