I miss making my kids lunch mine are in their 30’s now. When I did my grocery shopping I would come home I would prep the veggies and fruits for the week. Clean all the vegetables and fruits cut up my carrots celery take the grapes off the vines. Everything in a container. I was a single mom at the time and worked a full time job. I had to find ways of making my life easier and run smoothly. On Saturday or Sunday I would prep 3 or 4 meals for the week and double the recipe and stick one of each in the freezer for meals later on in month. I love how you keep so many things going and still take care of your family.
I hear you! I’ve been a single parent for 16yrs though my daughters have grown up now and both are adults (20 and 21 years old) I had to save every I made, and made sure they ate well and healthy. ❤
In the world of constant criticism I wanted to say how much I truly enjoy each and every video. Hands down you are my favorite. A tip for next time you make breakfast burritos 🌯. Buy the cubed ham & throw it in with your eggs. It gives the ham a slight crispness. Also throw the spinach in towards the end of your eggs cooking. It will cook right down. Those simple things make the burritos easier to eat & taste better in my opinion

Alicia I have a question for you. I am autistic and have aspbergers. How do you help bodhi handle change in routine. Like if you or Josh are going to be away from him at night or long period of time. Thanks for the videos it helps late at night when my brain is overloaded to just watch a morning routine.

The little differences in different countries,like not buttering bread in the US, where as in the UK,people would probably not eat a sandwich if it wasn't buttered.Have a wonderful day💙🧡🩵

People in the US put butter on bread and sandwiches all the time lol, my husband puts it on his own and j sandwiches. Me not so much lol
A lot of us do put butter on sandwiches. It is personal preference and I definitely think it has to do with our backgrounds. I’m English/German & Polish and we ALWAYS use butter. It’s what we were taught.
@@cathycreger8008 True that. Generally speaking i have yet to find a place in nyc or calli that even offer butter on sandwiches. Breadbaskets with butter on side is common in restaurants here. But also in europe its more open face sandwiches while here in us its more hero style. Meanwhile pj sammies are unheard of in sweden. Everybody looks at u in disgust lol
I don't know anyone who puts butter on a sandwich unless it's going on a griddle to be toasted. But never on a cold sandwich.

Try dicing ham (or getting the cubed ham) and mixing in the spinach and ham with the eggs. It will be so much easier to eat!

I counted a total of 72 plastic items per day for your kids. Over a year, that's an unfathomable amount of landfill just from your household. I understand that you have a busy life and household, but the long term cost of that much landfill is not a legacy you want to leave for your kids. Reusable is more work, but cheaper and better for the environment (and extension, your kids) over time.

No wonder your kids are sick all the time you seem not concerned about how you don’t properly pack their lunch because you don’t put the cold food where the ice pack can keep their food cold
Do the younger kids eat all of what you pack? I mean, I think it is great you give them a variety of foods, it just seems like a lot of food for a 5 year old.
She mentioned sometimes they do bring stuff home..but it’s usually something they can reuse for next time. She just likes to offer enough in case they are still hungry.
