My thoughts and prayers are with those that have been affected by the explosion. 🙏
These poor people.
Wrong ... These rich people now
What about the toilet he said that the toilet blew off anybody else upset that he didn’t show us the damn toilet !?!?
I thought that’s why they went upstairs........ : )
I was thinking that. Maybe it was occupied.
If the toilet did blow off you would think there would be a water leak......
@@freedom1439 in the video it just said it blew the lid/seat off.
That's what I said.
I really feel for this guy and his family. I live in and lived in West when the explosion happened here. Scary stuff.
I was sleep and my mother said the house started shaking I didn’t believe her until I seen our crooked fan out broken window upstairs and our tree knocked over
I just moved into an apartment on gessner and Clay Rd. Shook the place
I just spoke with my Grandfather in NW Houston who lives less than 12 miles away from where this occurred, thankfully he's safe!
If the house is deemed unsafe to live in, they may have to condemn it. Poor people. 😔😟😢
@Norma Vandever That's really sick. Terrible.
They can sue the company and get cash. That company is done for
@Norma Vandever Lmao have you never been on the internet, there's memes for everything. Stop being soft
Pro Tip: Ceiling fans should be secured to ceiling joists, not to the drywall.
If those fans are, and it's the joists that are broken, then it's not liveable.
If that fan was connected to nothing but drywall, somebody was DUMB! I'm not any kind of contractor and even I know that much! Drywall isn't meant for that!
It could be that it was mounted to the joists, but the force of the blast tore it loose.
@@JWRogersPS that's likely.
That fan need specifically a ceiling that is slanted because Its a flush them
I was the only child in the family that heard this.I told my parents, and they thought I had a sleep paralysis.Until they saw the news. LMAOO😂😂
Yeah it's so funny right. People's lives messed up smh

I agree with you so much.
They seem like such nice people and I hope they can rebuild soon.
Married 50 years and have to spend money on the house to fix it. Hopefully they can have a nice dinner at least.
Hopefully insurance helps. And I'm sure lawsuits will come out of the explosion. Hope they're taken care of.
We were woken up by this 16 miles away in Katy. Crazy. These poor people's house.
Best hope they had home insurance..
The ceiling fan falling out the ceiling though
He’s devastated.
Good lord... Such damage. I hope everyone is ok and is able to work damages out.
Can't believe the whole interview isn't the reporter asking about the explosion and the man saying "What?, What? I think I have inner ear damage."
I'm about two blocks away and my building shook at about 4:25 am.
Sue the company free money lol
I hope you are ok.
@@chrisnenshati7400 It's not a thing to "lol" about. ACTUAL people got KILLED and houses got destroyed! I'm pretty sure you'd keep your smart mouth to yourself if it happened to you.
3:26 is one of those old 80s huggers
I believe it might be a CEC?
2:17 42” white Hampton Bay litiltion hugger ceiling fan. That fan needs to be turned off. It’s not safe. 2:00 42” antique brass aloha breeze hugger ceiling fan.
Oh wow that's crazy
That company getting sued into oblivion.
Which is not going to help anyone if they don't have the money to pay. They can be fined millions, but if they don't have the money no one is going to get anything.
1:06 I’m surprised the ceiling fan didn’t fall
I remember watching this awhile back
Why does this look like it was filmed in 1990
This Looks Bad I Can't Believe That Happened And The Ceiling Fans Got Knocked Out.
This is the same as me my calling fan exploded I almost got injured also it blew my whole apartment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Really
The ceiling fan fell down just turn turn it on!
I hate that this happened but it was good it was before many people were stirring around. That would have been really horrible.
2:15 I have the same fan how did that not fall
Why would the President have to rebuild his house? More like the company will be getting your house fixed.
Jr Barn duh. These company are forced to have insurance that pays for it.
That ceiling fan was barely hanging in there.....no pun intended. If that had been on, who knows what would have happened.
2:07 he was installing the ceiling fan and he fell and grabbed onto the fan as his huge as fell and ripped the whole ceiling down and then tried to blame it on the explosion the leaks all over the ceiling are 5 years old
I swear a felt that shit last night
Bro I live at the cross section of 290 and bingle and I felt it. I thought a piece of my tree had fallen on my roof
3:24 Save that fan! Please 😢
I thought somebody entered my house last night at 4:25
Hampton bay Littleton and aloha breeze ceiling fans
Man I’m sorry I hope he has insurance or gets remedy but so unfortunate
D Roc he said he had insurance.
@@haydenbates2775 Insurance does not pay for the expenses while they move out of the house and live elsewhere while it undergoes repair. That assumes the house does not get condemned which mean it will have to be torn down. and re-built. Given the number of homes affected, there is not going to be enough builders to help everyone and that means years before a house gets rebuilt. Plus, insurance companies are notorious for not paying the full coverage. After Hurricane Harvey struck the area, the insurance companies were underpaying homeowners and had been threatened by both homeowners and the government with lawsuits. The same thing is going to happen.
2:15 Save that fan!
1:56 Another ceiling fan that didn’t fall off the ceiling XDDDDDD These fans must be pretty strong and secure in the ceiling
The ceiling wasn’t damaged where the fan was mounted.
@@RealMatthewMorgan o h
Save all the fans
He didn’t need that fan in that bedroom that’s falling off the ceiling bc it’s junk anyway
1:04 Hunter Waldon? 1:50 Mainstays? 2:14 Hampton Bay Littleton, 3:20, SMC?
Yep
Another fan collector viewing this video
First fan is a hunter Westminster five minute fan
Last fan is a heritage Alexis
I’m not sure what the cane bladed hugger is but it’s definitely not an SMC Royal Flush or a Heritage Alexis. It looks like it might be Commander Highland.
OMG!!!
The fan at 2:16 😆😳
and broke the fan
Destroyed that man's whole house! He can't even go to bed because it's full of glass and the ceiling might cave in on him.
Oh my God, how many people died in that?
I stay right where it happend and it was heard 50 mi away
Good insurance money. That sucks so bad
I don't think the damage was totally caused by the explosion the house looks pretty old anyways
Of course it happened in 2020
Why are ther asking if the homeowners have insurance? Screw that, the company that blew up, better have some damn good insurance, it wasn’t an act of God.......
Testing times
Oil and gas or??...let’s keep reducing regulations
Watson Grinding and Manufacturing. Has a you tube page
Ka S huh
2:16 Hampton bay littleton
@@PorterTheFanCollector what do you mean by a "cane motor"?
Those people need to not sleep there tonight. Wow. And they were a quarter of a mile away.
Is Jason Blaha ok?!?!
Lots of structural damage from that overpressure wave. Luckily no one seriously hurt.
Actually, two have been confirmed dead, as of 10:10 AM local time (1/24/2020).
The US flag out of the case 😢
Thats what you get with zero regulations! Glad this guy sees it. Thanks Drumpf
Lisa Proff stfu
Why is everything always Trump's fault 🤔😂👎
There are too many lax rules in Houston due to so many unqualified illegals working there. It's too late to go back 50 years to stop it...so you can't blame the President that is TRYING to stop the influx that's destroying Houston and so many other areas.
Poor man
dead pets or it's a fake story.
Someone angered God
Its probably some disgruntled worker that just got fired or could have just been an accident. Oh well. Shit happens! Looks like someone's in trouble. I' glad at least this guy had insurance, or as Chris Rock once called it, "In-case-shit-happens" lol
