yeah because they do nice damage, but it’s nothing special. In a world where the lowest health class is targeted generally, on top of being insanely squishy, fire mage now has a 20% stam reduction. No other class is punished like this.
Meanwhile youre running around with 480k hp and Demo Locks are raid bosses with 750k 😂 I usually top damage because of ignite, but if you for even a second run out of ways to mitigate damage you literally get globalled. You need to outplay melee so badly to not get flatlined when theres 2 of them
@@ninolinoyt and it’s because my friend plays frost dk and I play destro lock. The only way for us to do 3s together is if one of us went to a fotm meta class/spec like playing unholy/demo. And it’s SOLELY because of mortal strikes being so absolutely necessary to land kills. Neither of us want to play the bullshit pet classes that unh and demo have become

I mean yeah that’s how fire mage should be. If you can free cast you should kill someone in 2-3 globals. But good luck on free casting no good pvper is ever gonna let a fire mage free cast

@Mike Hawk A mage at 100% health can still easily be 1 shot or globaled. So a mage with 15% less health is going to get killed even easier.

I don’t think you can run glass cannon tho. The damage is nutty enough without even casting fireball. All instants is still strong af.

That some nice damage and all but unfortunately you don't have mortal strike debuff so (instant cast heal to full)
