Pilau jello lol. This is the best river session I've seen. I went to Waimea sooo much as a kid. My first experience surfing was on the little break that forms after the river has run out, and puts a sand shelf out past the short break a little (shore break wasn't as big as this day) and makes a nice little beginner wave.

"There is way more concrete in the world than good surf breaks" That statement rings true to me. I truly feel that is a little kid in south texas I got into skating because I simply lived nowhere near a beach worth surfing. I specifically remember watching surfers on vacations and wanting so badly to do that. every second I step on a board, I am simply pretending that I am surfing. Was really cool because I always skated a little differently from my friends. I have surfed a few times in my life but never satisfied the desire to say I can surf. It is unfortunate I did not grow up in the CZcams era because if I had found this channel as a kid I think I would have focused/encouraged to surf rather than trying to recreate the feeling on land. Now days I am surfkating bowls but learning to surf for real is definitely bucket listed
