I. LOVE. THIS. This is so cool. Mapping out of the goals of each person & making it into a board game. This was so informative too. I learned a lot from just this one video. The COVID virus is obviously a terrible awful thing, but I think that it is also bringing out the best in a lot of people. You have to start doing things differently & really get your mind working to figure things out. Bettering yourself while you try and adapt to the new reality that we live in. I love how Matthias lets us not only see his process for getting his company back on track, but also explains it all to it. Then makes a board game on top of it, along with this hilarious, dope video! I'm super impressed by him. Can't wait to see more!!

Hi 5 studios competition, a multi video multi day production that pits each channel against each other to see what channel is the best! It each episode can be posted on a different channel that way someone who only watches team edge or only watches dope or nope is driven to the other channels to see the entire event unfold in each video, like an “x games” or “olympics” style events but not all physical, make some of the challenges mental as well, post a video a day on each different channel and spread your viewer base between your revenue streams. Team edge would be one team, Rose would be another team, etc. people love seeing the whole group come together and especially if they are competing, it would be like the old edge games but much bigger, it would take a lot of work but it would raise awareness to all Hi5 channels on the platform and result in more subs and views per channel!

Have been loving all of your vids Matt ever since "restarting" from the very first one during this whole pandemic situation! Matt is an exceptional marketer and business person, by showing and bringing your viewers along on these journeys, we get a chance to participate and wait in anticipation of how things turn out! (The prev video stating that Hi5 wasnt profitable made quite a few of us stick through those grimy ads too!) What's more I love the education here, the 80/20 rule, the Goal vs Action, man these are all stuff learnt from experience and not textbook. Cant wait to see the board game progress!

Just a fyi for people curious about the game format...it's a game version of a burn up/down chart. Very useful project management tool. The process the team is taking is called Scrum. it's a practice under the Agile Manifesto. The idea is to "plan, execute, and learn". From a team perspective, they have a goal of "making Hi5 profitable" and then each "sprint", some set time frame which is normally between 1-4 weeks, they will evaluate what they did to get closer to the goal and what needs to be readjusted for the following sprint.

Matthias seems a great boss to work for instead of various graphs of productivity and in turn profitability he is try to capture the interest and focus of his team by gaining same results (of portraying information of progress visually) but in a different way aka a board game.
Honestly wish i had a way to work out there and work for this amazing business role model he honestly has so much to teach that id love to learn.

well yeah, they're all kinda friends and family, he really doesn't want to fire any of them
if he fires anyone it's literally cause they've run out of money and literally can't continue any channels anymore
he's just getting a little desperate tho since they're not making profit and him being the owner is losing money to keep his employees as he still has to pay them
honestly if he went back to only running one channel like only dope or nope and firing literally 2/3s of his employees; he would go back to making profit but no one wants that; that's terrible, that means he has failed as a boss
