it's like a 12 string and a 6 string had a baby. it's bigger sounding than a 6 but doesn't have quite all the overtones of a 12.
but definitely sounds more natural acoustic than a solid body should

Historically, standardizing on the 6 string guitar is relatively modern, from around the mid 1800's. Rob Scallon has done a number of very good videos on the history of the guitar and related instruments. You might also look up Robert Conti who plays an 8 string jazz guitar.

This guitar is really impressive. The high notes are absolutely CLEAN. Meanwhile the lower tones sounds almost like a real bass. I wish i could know which effects/post-processing he used.

+Stefano Gioia This GNG Brea has piezo saddles. I plugged the guitar in my RME soundcard and added some delay and reverb on Cubase. That's it.

This is a very nice guitar. The Fanned Frets are mathematically more correct than the conventional fret layout and the result is excellent and far more accurate intonation.

+SpairD7 yeah, it basically moves a certain interval into the bass, but I forgot which one. it's a pattern created by the de- tuned string
I don't really care for Djent. There are so much more capabilities for a 7 string guitar than playing the same 2 strings.

Not exactly classic, but 7-string acoustic guitars are common in popular music in a few parts of the world, apparently.
I can say for sure it's more common than 6-strings for certain genres of samba in Brazil.

When I see 7 strings on a multiscale fretboard I expect nothing but djent.
