Stranded Deep Aircraft Carrier

- In this Stranded Deep tutorial we are going to take a look at the Aircraft carrier, which is both a key part of the end game, and as of version 0.74 it is also the only place you will find gyrocopter parts.
We will head out on our raft, take a look at the aircraft carrier from the water, show how you get into the aircraft carrier, and show you where to find the sea plane that will take us back to civilization.
We'll also look at the end game requirements, and where you need to stockpile the food, water, and fuel.

my starter island is actually right next to the aircraft carrier and I can see it when I'm on my starter island

Same here, I had no idea what it was, just, "Hey, big broken ship over there!" Good to know I'm that close to where I need to be to escape!

I've built the Gyrocopter for a trophy, but I'm afraid to even use the thing in case an update voids the trophy to complete the game without using a compass... I could even bulid it another 3/4 times over with the amount of hoarding I've done, but I'm not going to risk all my hard work and void a platinum, lol. Anyway, I just wanted to get a rough idea of how much food, water and fule I needed to finish up. I still have to craft building parts now for another trophy, but I've almost crafted everything... I can practically taste that plat! Cheers! ; D

I didn’t find any gyrocopter parts there but I did find one in sunk ship
They can be found in crates in ps4 i find them all the time. If u find a crate don't open it just pick it up take it to your bedroll and save the game. then open it if its stuff u want, keep it and save game. if not just go back to main menu then reopen save and check chest again and it should be new items. You can do this as many times as needed but I would do one box at a time. Once you have the items you want save game and go to the next container and start the circle again. Its helped me alot ive even found engines doing this. After watching this video I discovered after 30 days I accidentally have all the parts for the gyro and the plane without even knowing it, gotta make fuel now. Just saved the parts as they appeared in the boxes, gas cans pop up in there too. I always keep lanterns too. Wish we could put the light torches on sicks as well, like a spot light or even headlights for the boat or plane.
Any tips for finding the carrier? I've just gone East and West from my island in one direction.
When you first start the game go to 'Cartographer' and it will be one of the 'mysterious locations' on the map.

This was recorded on version 0.76, so it is the latest build. Are you seeing something different? I am playing on PC, so I don't know what it looks like on a console. And thanks for watching.
@@KeithKay yes I'm also play on PC. What I mean newer version, that previous tutorial from you really great and helpful but its old version. lol. so the layout might confuse for newer guys like myself..
and the belt pouch seem cannot use for me, not sure why or cuz I'm using controller. The D pads wont work or maybe I'm using it wrong? idk

Going through the game now, unfortunately, no gyro parts found on the carrier. Any tips please?

@@KeithKay PC. I’ve heard something about limited time to pickup these parts upon the first visit, even though I got through all the corners and shadows of the carrier.

You know how to tell me if the position is random or is always in the same place in all games. I'm already 77 days in the game and I can't find this aircraft carrier!!
I think it is randomly generated for each new game. Check the 'Cartographer' map on the main menu before you start the game to see the map. Thanks for checking out the vid too!

Has anyone had this same issue, I’m 136 days in, 25 islands searched, 24 ships and I have not once seen an empty Jerry can. It’s really slowing me down. Has anyone had a similar experience?
That’s crazy! I don’t find Jerry cans on every island but by 2 or 3 I’ve got at least one. Man I’m sorry that’s happening.
there is a trick that will just make the search easier go to one island that you didn't search and before searching save and if you didn't find any thing just quit without saving and the containers will change

Is there a specific location in the world where the Aircraft Carrier spawns or is it random?
It's random as far as I know
Check cartographer when you load into game, middle is the starting island, figure out which direction from there

I’ve been having trouble my first time playing this game I’m on Xbox one and buy my starter island I can see this big ship I went to it and not one resource on the island it was all sand it doesn’t look the same as every video I’ve seen and I tried to go into the ship and there’s not even a door can someone please help me there’s something wrong with the game or is there another one around although I can’t see it from my starter island

How do you escape the airplane and stranded deep because I’m trying right now and I can’t
You have to find all the missing parts for the plane and find fuel then you can fly home

My aircraft carrier island had nothing on it and inside the carrier only the plane was there... not a single resource or gyro part

Yep mine had zero stuff on it... playing on Ps4 with all the current updates. So yeah... it has nothing, but I have everything so... it's no big deal to me, lol. ; D
