It's time for another Gear Unboxing video! I'm happy to share with you the unboxing, demo, and overview of the Behringer Ultra DI DI600P in today's video.
Just a quick note: I'm not sure I even used this pedal correctly. Maybe I should have used the XLR out for it to work properly, so I recommend trying it out for yourself before judging the quality of the product solely based on my video.
Also, I ended up sending this back because I found out I needed a power conditioner to help solve my noise signal problems, not a DI box. But ultimately, the main issue turned out to be a 9-volt battery I didn't know was inside my Ibanez TS-9 Tube Screamer pedal as I was additionally running power into it from my Godlyke Power-all power supply. Once I took that out, no more noise! (I'm still glad I got the power conditioner, though, lol.)
Anyway, be sure to watch the video for all the specs on the Behringer Ultra DI DI600P.
Now sit back, relax, and enjoy the show!
One more thing: Before you go, I would appreciate it if you viewed the rest of the information below. Thanks in advance.

If you're still having issues with unwanted noise in your sound you could check out some videos from the guys at "that pedal show," particularly the VCPI one

Hey man, seems you might have the neck and middle pups' phases reversed, in position 4. That might explain the output drop and thin sound. And test if the hum goes away with no lights on :)

The phase is reversed, in fact. I recently took the guitar to the shop and they fixed it for me. Turns out the pickups weren't correctly wired before. Nice suggestion about the lights, lol.
Any advantages to having the phase reversed on pickups in this way if the volume output is so low?

@@theericbeaty I guess some people find the sound useful, personally i'm not a huge fan :) For more info maybe check this out: czcams.com/video/jzghyYl7_60/video.html

The ground lift only works on the balanced output.

The audio is so low on this video it’s very difficult to hear what you’re saying

My apologies. I've since gotten better at audio levels.

so almost an hour review of a passive DI box?....as Joe Biden would say: "c'mon man!"

I ended up sending it back. I don't think I could fully understand how it worked. I don't need it anyway since I've got effects units that act as an audio interface/DI box.
