I always thank God that he saved my life on this day, I was in Beira, Mozambique where the cyclone was predicted to hit hard. We were left untouched but the sounds of the winds, trees falling, roofs from other houses hitting our own house is still in my head. I thought I was going to die in a foreign land.

I got chills throughout the episode. Looking up to the government is helpless fellow citizens. All donations have long since been looted and their breakthrough is from civilians like us. If every diasporan can set aside us$5 or us$10 I am pretty sure it will go a long way instead of watching our own people suffer at the hands of it's government. I understand the biggest challenge is always with finding honest people to handle such a huge task. Let's find ways to help tisangoperera pakuti "it's sad". Bus stop please help us with ideas. Thank you Zimbabweans

I fund raised for MHHFOUNDATION whom I know and have seen them on the ground throughout the rescue time till now. The little they get goes directly to Chimanimani community. They have been working with the school and they have provided clean water in the area they were alocated to . They are working hard to improve and assist few with school fees. The problem is that if any charity want to donate, they should not hand over anything to the political Counsellors. They should work with then but do the handling of any donations in person as charities etc. Building schools, clinic, housing and providing basic needs is vital in the area . You can Google Miracles Helping Hand Foundation and see their work.
