- Caravan World carried out Australia’s largest showcase caravan test for the second year running by assembling some of the best caravans in Australia, built by some of the most respected manufacturers in Australia.
We are delighted with the announcement that the Avida Topaz Multi Terrain is the 2014 Best Aussie Van winner as judged by Caravan World in the $65K to $80K market.

The table shifting to the second location is a great idea... Also love the plumbing etc being protected underneath the floor. It is also pleasing to see reliable brand name items being installed. Great van !
Thanks RVTV for your positive comments
Great color combination and lovely design. High gloss is easy to ceep clean..
This is an astounding caravan. Aussies know how to camp in style, and it goes off road too. Good job mates!
Thank you
Good to see an Australian caravan that doesn't look like a garden shed bolted to a trailer chassis (and with an interior that doesn't look like a 1970 Viscount). Very nice!
Coover, thank you for your positive feedback.
Does the front window above the bed leak? And does it or can it have a full size oven?
Beverly, the video that you have watched here is 6-7 years old. Please take a look and walk through of our latest caravans here avidarv.com.au/caravans-for-sale/ Our current models are the Avida Topaz and the offroad Avida Rock. Both these models have the option for an oven.
Long way from Triple M Mate :)

Good luck.
Awesome trailer with impeccably finished underbelly. Bring to USA...please!
How about exporting these caravans to North America? With so many things made in China, we could use something made in Australia.
Door on the wrong side!
kemlokemlo How about moving the door to the other side of the caravan?
dennytenny On the contrary, I don't want to put either American workers or Canadian workers out of business. But I don't want to have to rely on China for everything that we use. Nothing would please me more than to have American workers build American products, but if we're not allowed to build our products, then what other country is there that is capable of building good quality products? Knowing how durable Australian motorhomes and travel trailers (caravans) have to be for Australian outback conditions, I'd want my motorhome to be built in Australia and sold here in North America. Our American built motorhomes and trailers aren't built for off-road use.
+Whispers Around A Tree Are they?
