Hi Jason, just bought the boss fv5ool, but helix won't allow me to use it as expression pedal 3, it just uses it as expression 2 making onboard expression pedal 2 redundant, any ideas why?
Hi, I have an EP-1 Mission pedal (NOT the L6), and if I use a TS or TRS cable I can't use tha full range of the pedal! when I step halfway down on the pedal, the range shown on helix goes from 0 to 50%, and when I continue to step toe down then the range showing in Helix goes back from 50 to 0%... So heel down is 0%, then it goes to 50% and then back to 0%?! When I pull the jack cable halfway out of the pedal, then the wah pedal works properly from 0 to 100% in Helix. Any help how I can solve my problem? It's the regular Mission EP1 not the L6 and does not matter if I use TS or TRS jack cable.
Is this version of the Mission Engineering expression pedal designed to be used only with the snapshots feature

Can I assign the Expression 3 pedal as a universal pedal for the volume for every patch without having to go into every patch to change it? Right now I put the expression pedal in the back of my amp and use it that way. When I play live and go direct from the helix I want the expression 3 pedal to do what it currently does to my amp but I would rather not go into every patch and change it. Thanks
you should setup a basic patch with the exp3 in it and then when you make new patches you copy that template patch and edit from there as you add stuff for new ones.
Can SP-1 L6H be used with Hx effects? I use both stomp and Hx effects. Id like to only buy one. Thank you in advance James.
Just bought the pedal and I use it mainly for wah. I am trying to figure out how to activate and deactivate the wah function with the toe knob. Any suggestions how to do it?
did you get the pedal that has the toe switch in ir or not. some have it. most folks use the onboard pedal for wah as it has the switch and then use the regular external expression pedal as the controller or volume/gain boost

Does the normal sp1 (non l6) works with an hx stomp?
The standard SP-1 will not work with the HX Stomp. You'll need the Mission SP1-L6H or the EP1-L6 if you don't need the switch
What if I want to use the tow switch on the mission pedal
The SP1-L6H with the internal switch is supported on the Helix Rack only. The Floor does not have support for an external toe switch. Setting up the Rack with the toe switch is covered here czcams.com/video/x4xJmHHQdMw/video.html

The Mission EP1-L6 will work with any Line 6 product that has an expression pedal input. This includes the FM4.
How does this unit work with the wammy feature?
It will work with any variable parameter on the Helix

Great videoooooo! Let me ask...do you know if is possible when I press the expression pedal to use the wah wah, if is possible programming at the same time to turn on the delay for have a great solo tone (wah wah with delay together)?! Cause press another patch to use some solo patch and run to the expression to use the wah wah live, is really hard.

It is a well made pedal but the price is beyond ridiculous - it's far simpler but more expensive then dunlop wah which is even better made.
For those who can't afford it - buy a used cry baby and a 10k linear pot. After a 5min of soldering you'll have bullet proof pedal for one 5th of the price.
