We need an Eminem documentary in this style
8 MIle Sucked yo!
"I mean" love Marshall but that movie is slow as fuck yo
Tell that to the Emmys.
Grammys and the billions around the world who thought otherwise..but everyone has an opinion..just yours doesn't matter cuz u are far outnumbered bruh
I swear Eminem gives you inspiration to be something in this world.
@beelzebub beelzebub we're on a spinning rock hurdling a lone through never ending space with no other known intelligent species anywhere in our solar system..We could be wiped completely out by an astroid tomorrow and in the grand scheme of the universe it wouldn't change a thing. Getting caught up in the day to day BS and worrying about making money to provide, things sure seem really important...but in reality, they aren't and we aren't. In some ways it's sort of depressing and in other ways, it's freeing. I mean, the fact we're the only known life in the explored universe, the odds of everything working out to where our planet can sustain life to where we've evolved to be alive today is like winning the lottery a trillion times in a row...
Yeah he does! I think long after he’s gone people will still listen to his music to not give up no matter how hard life gets. :)
Sway is the only one who gets eminem to open up properly
Mike Tyson's interview is the most open I've seen, one of the few Tyson interviews I've ever watched and well worth it.
False! Maybe in interviews, but Dr. Dre is the only one Em truly opens up for n they create magic!
This easily the most comfortable I’ve seen Em in an interview.
"You didn't even let me finish my last rhyme, so shut up for one more time"
I always think of that when Paul and sway were throwing him words in a freestyle. It tales sway a good moment to come back and throw the next word. Awkward, but not.
"Hip hop hasn't really been around long enough to know how long somebody can actually go for." - Eminem
Jay, Dre and Nas are demonstrating that though.
Tribe's last album was great too.
"I dont have the rage anymore that i used to have but i still have the exact passion" Man👏👏👏
But this is the same guy who says that he’s actually happiest when he’s angry… In recent interviews…
@@Rosannasfriend Yeah, but it's different. The rage he had in his early years was this like, pervasive, encompassing thing. It wasn't just him raging about rap, it was about the life he had, the conditions he was in and came up in, everything. That definitely faded probably around the Eminem Show, but it doesn't mean he doesn't get or doesn't enjoy being angry. And even in years where nothing major was happening, like MMLP2 I think it was, there was that song he did with Kendrick that was pretty comedic and near the end of that he says "I have infinite hate in my blood and it's because of (the game of love)," and that's both tongue in cheek and not that "Eminem rage" he's talking about.
Take disses for instance. He wasn't pissed off on every one he ever did, but there were certainly isolated pockets of anger that he was able to direct into killer lyrics. After Revival got raped by damn near everyone, he quickly channeled some of his anger into the Chloraseptic remix, which was so much better it was ridiculous. Then of course this would more thoroughly coalesce into what became Kamikaze, which was the closest he's been to old Em in terms of that fury, but it's still not the rage he talks about here. These are finite instances where once he lets it rip he's cool. In the early years that shit was an infinite supply by comparison. Hopefully that makes some sense.
@@Rosannasfriend everybody is angry and this is how he uses his anger
@@Taima kamikaze was made of being pissed cause of the revival hate cause he put his heart in songs like arose or castle ,great songs and his critics,in some of the disses he is mostly pissed ,quitter or girls he clearly is
because it s impoosible ,he lived other things he was poor, his mom,kim and shit now he is sober has money he made it he even said it on believe ,,how to keep the hunger if you won the race,,or smth like that
Hip-hop is so young. Em is what 48? He has seen it all man. He knows what he is doing. A true OG to this game. Fucking incredible.
Eminem is really Batman, and Detroit really is Gotham City.
@@QueMeVezWeiin the song Marshall Mathers, Slim disses insane clown posse not they are a menace like joker but i guess they are the clowns of Detroit
I love the fact that Eminem sounds like he’s rapping even when having a normal conversation 😂
Proof believed in him
Just just takes one person to give you the push
That can change ya life forever ✌🏼⭐️
I believe in you Boss. Or shall I call ya Mr. Levels? ; ) either way I believe in you, not for any other reason apart from the fact that I do💯
Well he sacrificed his ass, bought em alot of time tho . Drake sacrificed xxx and that's why In " I'm upset " drake said " sms(send my shooters ) xxx, that's only time you shoot below the neck ( that's where xxx got shot , all this coincidence?) Then he says " I still got like 7 years of doing what I want" . What drake meant by that is he had bought time with his sacrifice , if you aren't producing sacrifices, then either you time will come to an end soon In fame and possibly your life can be at risk cause someone can sacrifice you . So making a big sacrifice buys you lots of time and also makes you untouchable. So em choosing his best friend who put him on , proof , ya that bought alot of time . Drake took a up and coming superstar, so drake you see is bigger than ever even this he was already big at the time . Shit is real .
Don’t forget it was Dr Dre who believed in him too. If it weren’t for Dr Dre taking him on on his label there wouldn’t be an Eminem. Big proof carried on believing him and pushing him.
Born and raised in the Detroit area.. 66 years old now and I truly loved this video. We, as a community, have always been so proud of Eminem! Much respect!
Em and his thinking is on another level.
its called intelligence, his experience combined with his talent makes him what he is: a living legend with a master degree of an MC level of thinking and this one of the reasons why the greatest MCs to have been around respect him
You think so . I think all true lyricist think differently deep in another level. Em is just one of the few . if u think em is deep like that wait till u listen to MF Doom , Qwel , Aesop Rock , Slug, Deltron, ... etc
Em is great but not the greatest .
For a true hiphop junkie like myself who has been digging this culture for about 25 years plus I know what i'm saying ....
Take it from someone whos true to the culture .
@@th30ne96 I’ve been listening to hip hop for 30 years so em is def one of the best even possibly the best lyricist
“Hiphop hasn’t really been around long enough to know how long somebody can actually go for” You already know what that means.. he’s gonna rap til he’s fossil fuel .. Em 🐐
Man his humbleness is beyond beautiful. The way he think is just amazing. I genuinely love him
His best friend verse was damn near perfect in my humble opinion... not to mention Detroit vs everybody.
I like that song, but when he called Proof his higher power, it creeped me out
We need more of these laidback interviews with Em. It really shows a human side to him, and listening to him speak is very humbling.
*Most gifted rapper of his generation.*
On people missing the old Em: "People miss the rage. I don't have the rage anymore but I still have the passion" RESPECT TO THE 🐐✌️💞
Edit: Em's chain is 🔥🔥🔥 too 👀
This is the best one on one interviews I've ever seen with Em. Because it's real. It's not preplanned or aimed at the public. It just seems like 2 friends talking and catching up. I love it. 👏🏻
Can't really see it cause it's to dark in the car,but is the best I've heard so far
Yeah it's dope cuz they've known and trusted each other for a very long time.
The eminem is gonna age like wine. He'll get better and better as time goes by
I definitely have that opinion. Em has just killed the game bc of his heart and passion. Every one should just stop trying to create something more meaningful. he has it on lock... that is just my life experience tho.
Eminem is a legend and def in my top 3 of all time but his last album wasn’t that good imo
This kinda has a video game 1st person feel
We need an entire EM documentary like this. This interview/video was dope af
Words can not express how much Eminem means to me. Its weird, i know its weird in theory, to love an artist you dont personally know, their work and who they are as a person like that. But theres no other artist on this earth who has given me what he has. My life wouldnt have been the same without him and his art in it. The real oldschool stans will understood ❤
Em- “Look my skin is pale, but you look like you’ve seen a ghost!”
De-fucking-stroyed
It gave me chills when it cut to that part 🥲 I was like “ oh crap that’s the 1996 freestyle Eminem did”
Eminem turned out to be the most nicest person in the 🌎
Sway is on another level, he knows how to make people he interviews comfortable
He really cares about his culture influence and wants to learn, help inform people of real rolemodels in our society. Em got sober and he is truly happy and stress... WAIT, WHAT STRESS?!! LOL
It's his passion. He brings the best out of these musical minds because he has an incredible passion for it.
Whoever edited this video and took the camera shots and pluges in the audio, it was very pretty the way you did it. It's my philosophy that the 'cameraman' has his/her own language in it's just so wonderful to me(between lighting angles and effects). Thanks for whoever montaged this together. Was calming to watch.
I couldn't disagree more. It was unfocused and uninteresting when the focus was not on Em.
Calming to watch, it was!!!
Lol even the moments, em got incredibly passionate while speaking...still, calming.
@@VinceBarter its meant to be viewed in VR. They dont make a class on that, i dont think.
Marshall Mathers EP and Tupac Until the end of time were my two first albums. Im german i didnt understand everything but they spoke to me. I never stopped listening to hip hop since.
Dont worry thee's say the most brilliant rhymes out most of the rappers there others too
Watch Tupac's interviews you will never think any other rapper or person had more intelligence then tupac.
Alot of maturity in Mr. Mathers tone of voice. 🎤🎙 Mad respect G. #Legend
333,333 Views man!!! Hope you guys liked Tone Deaf and the Godzilla Fanmade Video yall
I really liked them but the "believe" one you made years ago is how I know you and that is probably the best lyric video ever made
*You can tell Em is in a good head space. I think my favorite parts of this interview is just seeing him laughing & having a good time.*
I absolutely love seeing Em this way. Happy, having a good time, passionate for his craft, and enjoying what he does.
If god asked me to make a wish.. i will ask for eminem that he may remain younger for 1000 years so that next several generations cam hear him
@@emyf9197 is staying healthy not important? .. If God immortalize you at age of 97, you can barely move from your cot.
@@emyf9197 why are we arguing 😂 em is Legend and he'll definitely work hard till his last breath and we'll proudly say that we saw a living legend in our time .. and the generation could listen to the masterpiece only but missing the legend
They say if a human being is able to be alive 30 years from now, with the advancement of science they will be able to De-age people and peoples average life expectant with be 1,000 years old, and I’m not joking. Look it up.
I literally can't get enough of Em... His music just hits different, a magic that can't be replicated.
And when he speaks, people listen. This is a man who's been through it all, from extreme poverty to the highest sales. From not fitting in anywhere, to being loved globally. From pure rage and hatred to sadness and sorrow. From young to old.
I really hate that so far, he's been in like 5 podcasts only (with Sway twice, Mike Tyson, Lil Wayne and Kxng Crooked). I want to know so much more about the man who raised generations, who got us through teenagehood to adulthood. The man whose words rocked our worlds and made us cry of rage and cry of sadness...
So glad I'm alive at the same time he is! From the time I was a little 13yo kid from Morocco to a 19yo, I mastered English because of him, and I couldn't be any more grateful.
It gave me chills when it cut to the time when Eminem did the 1996 freestyle. Man time flies. 10:57
The ones that want the old Eminem is stuck in the comfort zone , i want the evolutionary Eminem , who push through years and years ,yes Marshall mathers lp is my favorite but the fact he still got IT is in my eyes a legend
Holy shit...he writes his rhymes like I write my poetry. All over the place, cuz as the thoughts come they dont always fit together. Or something will come to me and I just gotta write it down. I love Em. I admire him. Hes still growing. He ain't done..not by a longshot!
watching this added the 1% of admiration missing over this man´s art , its now at 100% , the level of passion marshall has for coulture its simply out of this world .
A lot of black people disown em and say he's a guest or hes stealing hip hop..but look at the props he gives to people..hes so humble he spends his interviews talking about other people..people of color..he knows where he is and very much respects it to the fullest.he uses his voice to for the people..like police brutality towards black people..he respects the rap game and you can rest assured you can trust it in his hands..he won't let it die or be forgotten
