2023 Camino de Santiago - Pamplona to Puente la Reina Stage 4

Day 4: Pamplona to Puente de la Reina
We woke up to an overcast day with a chance of rain. We departed Pamplona, crossing the city and the University of Navarra. After a long walk through several streets, we were back in the countryside and the familiar landscape.
Today's goal was to reach the iconic Alto del Perdón, the Mount of Forgiveness. We would pass through two small towns before reaching the summit.
After a few hours of walking, we finally arrived at Alto del Perdón. The wind was strong and the temperature was chilly, but the views were spectacular. The giant statues at the summit were the perfect centerpiece for the landscape.
We took some pictures and rested for a bit before starting our descent. The rocky terrain was full of loose pebbles and rocks, which made the walk slow and challenging. We passed through beautiful fields and small towns before arriving in Puente de la Reina.
We were glad that the rain held off, but we were also exhausted from the challenging day. The ascent to Alto del Perdón was tiring, but the descent was even more difficult. Stopping to enjoy the landscape was a good way to distract ourselves from the physical fatigue.
Overall, we found this stage to be a challenging but rewarding experience. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
