I took pictures at this. My flash goes off during the entire set. Bungle opened for Primus. One of the best shows I saw.
Link them?
Were they wearing masks
Ho man awesome!
That Squeeze me Macaroni out of nowhere transition to Spill the Blood by Slayer was awesome & surprising AF

Thank you sir
Thank you very much
you are a saint
Best band of all time.
Aww, man! So much prodigious talent contained on this stage. Even back when they were teens and early twenty-somethings, they knew what they wanted and just went for it with ferver. Mr Bungle was larger than life!! And Patton playing drums? That's a rare treat! I knew he was good but never saw him play live. Wish I could've been there, looks like a blast!
That medley was amazing.

I wish I could see them live :(
they are returning for a couple concerts in 2020!!
feb 8 2019
now you can bro
@@nigelproctor yeah I did but its all thrash punk :/
I wish you could too and hope you did in 2020. I've seen them live and up close 5 times and they put it all into their shows with many unexpected twists. They are truly insane in the best way. Had the luxury of meeting Trey and Trevor, who are super nice guys. My brother, who is no longer with us, met Mike Patton outside of his work in SF. My brother wanted to ask him all about his many bands and Mike asked him about his work in Microbiology instead, which floored him. My brother said he was super nice and appreciative of any compliment (especially about Fantomas). He knew I was jealous that I wasn't there, because I was even more of a fan. But it doesn't matter, it was one of his happiest memories and he told the story more times than I can remember. I loved hearing it every time. I'm grateful he had that amazing time with a musical legend before he died. It truly was a highlight in his life and I'm so thankful that Mr. Patton took the time to be so engaging, take a selfie and just be real and human. I just wish Mr. Bungle wouldn't rip off Slipknot or Korn. I hope they get some of their own ideas eventually. Niners.
Always get goosebumps while listening this band!
I was at this concert
In costumes
The universe was created to give Mr Bungle somewhere to hang out while they created the greatest sonic gifts humanity have ever received
mi banda favorita!!! Grande Mike Patton and Friends!
Love is a fist!
Dammit! they're awesome!!
wow I'd like to hear them do the whole song "love shack" instead of just a piece, it sounded great.
Saw MP with FNM around the same time as this playing in London, can't remember exactly but the album
" The Real Thing "
was brand new to England
All good stuff
Was he in a mask

Derek Hartman what ?
I think I can interpret for you:
"There isn't any good LSD around anymore, so thank God for Mike Patton, who serves as a great substitute."
@Jason Pizzolato LSD? Jesus Christ dude I'm from Humbolt, man. I don't take kind to your junk like that. Peace, man. Fuckin pot. Pot. I don't like it. I don't like it.
1:01:21 A prime Mike Patton moment.
Mr. Nice Guy at the end was outstanding.
I love that energy!!
Thank you so much for giving this. I’ve seen them live several times. This capture is awesome

Right on ! 1989 who was I ? Damn, some of us are dreamers not do-ers. I dabbled with geetar sold records back then but I only knew what I knew. Precocious dudes all. 👍
This is so perfect... :Q
The covers in this one, and everything else 🤯
hearing them cover Stevie... cant' believe I never noticed the heavy influence before. He was such a master... especially Songs in the Key of Life
Hell yeah
Back in action boys and girls!
Love the slayer bit in the first song
Only 9,000 views. Sad.
Simmer down Francis!
I thought OVER 9000!!!! was really good on the interwebs
@DooblyDooBAH
No. Mr. Bungle were trying to be Fishbone. As Patton said, they were trying to sound like fishbones 2nd / 3rd cd. (paraphrasing)
They were right up there with Bungle too ..influenced many.
But Zappa and Mike Patton are the best this or last century has to offer. Period.
Kiedis-rhcp, slipknot, korn etc.. were trying to sound like Bungle.
'The bungle chord' developed by one of the knobs from korn, for eg..
DemonDan131313 Hey man! I got interested in your comment about Patton talking about fishbone. Could you give me a source so I can find out more about it?
I'm so fucked up I can't stand.
This is none better.
I can die now.
Mike going thru the motions on Girls of Porn was priceless....and sitting on stage flipping thru the magazine.....Mike, come and take me please! Has always been and will always be HOT
If you have to ask, you'll never know :)
love the mid-song Slayer ref
Spill the blood
and at the beginning :)\m/
Loll this is one of the bands that inspired KoRn.
I never understood how though. Crazy experimental genre-shifting band with clever lyrics inspires another band to down tune and play songs with simple riffs that all sound the same with lyrics that complain how hard it is being a rich, successful rockstar.
Fuck me I absolutely hated nu-metal and I’m glad it’s not a thing anymore.
@@heyhonpuds sounds like you have some sort of trauma you should talk with your therapists about.
The slayer intro too lol \m/
❤sapulaos❤
27:37 Primus!!
When I grow up I want to be...

A little bit of Slayer at the start

Right before mike joined FNM.
Love it.
Fuck anyone who doesn't like this.
Moron.
No royalties from Fisher Price?
Fuckem
Too many screaming girls.
Fretless_ness
They like Mike Patton.
Not after a Bungle show a haha
Fretless_ness
Why not?
Imagine you are a sixteen year old, innocent girl who likes FNM and Mike Patton because of "Epic." Your musical boundaries are highly restrictive. Then, you find yourself in the middle of a Mr Bungle show…..
+SavertonJr really? any proof of that?
